Eligibility Criteria

Candidates seeking admission to B.V.Sc. & A.H. courses in RAJUVAS must satisfy below eligibility criteria before applying for the admission.

Educational qualifications

  • The candidate must have done the Senior Secondary examination (Science-Biology group) conducted by an Education Board/ Council/ University (duly recognized by the Rajasthan Board, CBSE, New Delhi) or any other examination recognized equivalent to it with not less than qualifying marks in each subject and minimum of 50% marks (40% for candidates belonging to SC/ST category) in the aggregate of English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
  • The applicants who are appearing in the qualifying examination in the year of admission and waiting for their result can also apply. However, they have to score a minimum of 50% marks (40% marks for SC/ST Category) taken together in Chemistry, Physics, Biology, and English at the above said qualifying examination.

Age limit

The candidate should have completed the age of 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission.

Reservation of seats

  • 85% of seats are reserved for Rajasthan domicile candidates.
  • Remaining 15% seats are available for All India Competitive Examination conducted by VCI

RAJUVAS B.V.Sc. & A.H.  Application Form: How to apply?

Candidates have to apply for AIPVT online. The exam is conducted by Veterinary Council of India, New Delhi for admission to B.V.Sc. & A.H. degree course on 15% All India Quota Seats in Veterinary Colleges in India as well as State quota seats (Other than 15% All India quota) in the veterinary colleges in Manipur, Haryana, and Rajasthan.

Online counselling registration applications will be invited from admission eligible applicants of Rajasthan domicile only who have applied and appeared for AIPVT-2021 for admission in B.V.Sc. & A.H. degree course under Rajasthan State quota seats for academic session 2021-22 in the affiliated Colleges of the Rajasthan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Bikaner.

The applicants will have to submit online counselling registration application form on the official website of University i.e. www.rajuvas.org as per prescribed date. They will have to pay Online Counselling Registration fee of Rs. 1,000/- (Rs. 800/- for SC, ST and PH categories) through Bank Challan in ICICI Bank branches located all over India. The incomplete applications or without applicable registration fee will be rejected directly.

Counseling

Selected candidates for admission on the basis of merit of the entrance test in their respective categories will be called for Counseling by the Central UG Admission Board for admission to B.V.Sc. & A.H. programme. The candidate should report in person along with necessary documents on scheduled date and time.

List of documents required at the time of counselling

  • Four recent color photographs (as attached in the entrance test Application form)
  • Admit card of the competitive entrance test
  • Marks sheet of the entrance test
  • Mark sheet and certificate of 12th Examination
  • Mark sheet and Certificate of 10th examination
  • Domicile certificate of Rajasthan
  • Character certificate issued from the last attended college/school
  • Cast certificate, if applicable
  • Physically handicapped category certificate, if applicable

Selection Process

Admission will be made on the basis of merit through AIPVT competitive entrance examination organized by Veterinary Council of India, New Delhi.

In case of tie in the merit, the following rules will be used for breaking tie.

  • One who has secured more marks in Science Biology group subjects (Chemistry, Physics, and Biology) at the Senior Secondary (10 + 2) examination or its equivalent recognized examination will be given preference.
  • Further tie, preference in order will be given to the applicant who has passed this qualifying examination in the lesser number of attempts.
  • In case of further tie, preference in order will be given to the applicant who has obtained more marks in Secondary school examination or its equivalent recognized examination
