Rajasthan Polytechnic 2022: Eligibility, Application Form, Syllabus, Exam Pattern

Rajasthan Polytechnic 2022 admission process will be carried out by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Rajasthan for granting enrolment to the candidates in diploma courses. The admissions will be granted on the basis of merit in the qualifying exam. The interested candidates can apply for the admission process in online mode from 26th June 2022. Eligibility Criteria

The candidates who wish to be considered for Rajasthan Polytechnic 2022 admissions will have to fulfill the following eligibility criteria:

For diploma in engineering courses:

The candidates should have passed their class 10^th or equivalent exam from a recognized board with Mathematics and Science as compulsory subjects. A minimum aggregate of 35% marks must be obtained by the candidates and an individual pass in Mathematics and Science is also required.

For diploma in engineering courses (lateral entry):

The candidate should have done Diploma in Engineering or 12^th Science Vocational/ Technical or 10^th + 2 year ITI with appropriate specialization or 10+2 (PCM) from Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan, Ajmer, & CBSE Delhi or equivalent.

Rajasthan Polytechnic Application Form 2022

The application form for Rajasthan Polytechnic 2022 has been released in online mode on the official website hte.rajasthan.gov.in. The candidates will have to provide the details asked in the application form such as name, date of birth, email id, contact number, qualifying exam details, etc. The scanned copies of photograph, signature, mark sheet of secondary exam, category certificate (as per applicability) will also be upload in the application form. After providing all the details into the form, the candidates will have to submit it. Along with this, the candidates will also have to submit the required application fee of Rs. 300/-. The application fee payment can be done online or via E-Mitra. After the final submission of the form and fee is made, the candidates should take a printout of the form and keep it safe for future use.

Note: Along with the application form, the candidates will also have to submit an option form, providing the preference of college and courses, on the basis of which course and college allotment will be done.

Merit List

After the application process is over, the conducting authority will publish the merit list of the candidates. First, provisional merit list and then a final merit list will be uploaded. This merit list will be prepared on the basis of the marks obtained by the candidates in the qualifying exam. The candidates will be invited to attend the counseling as per their rank in the merit list.

Rajasthan Polytechnic 2022 Counseling

The counseling and seat allotment will be done on the basis of choices made by the candidates in their option form and their merit ranking. The process of counseling will be done in computerized mode. The candidates who are allotted a seat during the counseling round will have to visit the nodal center for document verification. There will be two rounds of counseling and the same process of seat allocation and document verification will be carried out in both rounds.
