Rajasthan LEEP 2022: Applications will be invited from Eligible candidates of Rajasthan and other states for admission to second-year B.E/B.Tech courses in various engineering colleges of Rajasthan on the basis of Diploma in Engineering or B.Sc marks. Rajasthan Lateral Entry in Engineering & Pharmacy (Rajasthan LEEP) is an important gateway to get admission in above courses in Rajasthan. Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates should have Indian Citizenship.
- Candidates holding Diploma from Board of Technical Education, Rajasthan, and AICTE approved institution with minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ST/OBC-non creamy/SBC category of Rajasthan) are eligible to apply for the entrance exam
- Candidates having B.Sc degree in relevant field i.e. Mathematics with minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ST/OBC-non creamy/SBC category of Rajasthan) from recognized AICTE institutions/Universities or Universities in Rajasthan can appear for the exam
- Rajasthan Bona-fide residents who can give appropriate documents will be given the preference at the time of admission.
Application Form: How to fill?
The candidates can follow below step wise step instructions in order to fill application form successfully:
- Visit the official website of conducting Authority i.e. http://www.rtu.ac.in/RTU/leep for applying online
- Now start the registration process by providing basic details like their email address and mobile number.
- Login credentials will send to your registered email address. By using the same you can access the Rajasthan LEEP application form.
- The candidates are requested to read instructions carefully before filling up the application form.
- The application fee is Rs.700/- which can be paid by using the credit card, debit card, net banking, ATM card or e-wallet.
Application Fee
The applicants will have to pay a total of Rs. 700/- as required application fee. The payment of application fee can be made by using the credit card, debit card, net banking, ATM card or e-wallet.
Admission Process
The admission process will involve the four phases as listed below:
- Online Registration
- Online choice filling and locking of subjects
- Seat allocation phase
- Admission and physical reporting in allotted institute/college
Reservation
The seat reservation will be made subject to the prevalent constitutional provisions of the State of Rajasthan viz. 12% for ST candidates, 16% for SC candidates, 21% for candidates from non-creamy layer OBC category and 5% for candidates belonging to non-creamy layer SBC candidates as per the Govt. of Rajasthan (except in case of Private unaided Institutions and 50% seats in the self finance course of the aided institutions)
Provision will also be made for horizontal reservation of 25% for women category, 3% for candidates belonging to physically handicap (PWD), and 3% for dependants of Ex-servicemen / Defence Killed/Gallantry award winners.
