Rajasthan ITI Admission 2023 Eligibility Criteria

The candidates must ensure that they meet the eligibility criteria given below in order to apply for Rajasthan ITI.

Age Limit

  • As on 1st August 2023, the age of a candidate should be more than 14 years.

Educational Qualification

  • The candidate must have passed the class 8th, 10th, and 12th examination (as applicable for the trade opted) from Rajasthan board or an equivalent board of education.

Note: The candidate should also be physically and mentally fit in order to pursue the course.

The trade-wise educational qualification requirement are as follows.

  • Attendant Operator (Chemical Plant) – Passed 10th class examination under 10+2 system of education with Science and Mathematics or its equivalent.
  • Carpenter – passed 10th class Examination
  • Computer Hardware & Network Maintenance – Passed 10th with Science and Maths as subjects.
  • Draughtsman (Civil) – Passed 10th class examination under 10+2 system of education with Science and Mathematics or its equivalent.
  • Draughtsman (Mechanical) – Passed 10th class examination under 10+2 system of education with Science and Mathematics or its equivalent.
  • Electrician – Passed 10th class examination under 10+2 system of education with Science and Mathematics or its equivalent.
  • Electronic Mechanic – Passed 10th class examination under 10+2 system of education
  • Fitter – Passed 10th class examination under 10+2 system of education with Science and Mathematics or its equivalent.
  • Foundry man Technician – Passed 10th Class with Science and Mathematics under 10+2 system of Education or its equivalent
  • Information Communication Technology System Maintenance – Passed 10th with Science and Maths as subjects.

  • Instrument Mechanic – Passed 10th class examination under 10+2 system of education with Science and Mathematics or its equivalent.

  • To begin the application process, candidates have to register on the official website of the directorate.
  • Once the registration process gets over, aspirants need to fill personal, contact, and qualification details in the application form.
  • The details that you will enter in the application form should be correct. Otherwise, the application form might get rejected.
  • Next, the aspirants have to upload the scanned images of their photograph and required documents. .
  • Format and size of the images to be uploaded on the application form are as follows.

The application fees are different for the candidates of various categories.

  • General Candidates: Rs. 200/-
  • SC/ ST/ OBC Candidates: Rs. 175/-

Mode of payment: The application fee can either be paid online using Debit/ Credit card/ Net banking or offline using e-Mitra kiosk.

Rajasthan ITI Admission 2023 Merit List

  • After the application form submission process gets over, the authorities will release the merit list of admission.
  • The merit list will be prepared solely on the basis of the marks secured by the candidates in the qualifying exam.
  • While preparing the merit list, first priority will be given to the following candidates.
    • Candidates passed class 8th from Rajasthan board/ CBSE from a school in Rajasthan.
    • Native candidates from Rajasthan.
    • Children/ Wife/ Husband of an employee working in the Rajasthan Government.
    • Children/ Wife/ Husband of central government employees currently posted in the Rajasthan.
  • All candidates who are not in the first priority list will be considered in the second priority.
  • At the time of preparing the merit list, authorities will also provide benefits of the reservation to the reserved category candidates as given below.
    • SC candidates: 16%
    • ST Candidates: 12%
    • OBC (Non-creamy layer): 21%
    • EBC: 5%
    • Economically Weaker Section: 10%.

Rajasthan ITI Admission 2023 Counselling

  • Those candidates who will secure more than cut off marks as per the merit list will be invited to take part in the counselling process.
  • At the time of the counselling, the candidates will get the chance to choose the trade in which they want to complete their ITI course.
  • To take part in the counselling, aspirants have to be present at the counselling centre along with the original documents.
