Punjab ITI Admission 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Nativity

• The candidate should be a resident of the Punjab state. However, students from other states can also apply for the 15% seats.

Age Limit

• The minimum age to apply for the Punjab ITI Admission 2023 is 14 years.

Educational qualification

• Aspirants must have passed class 8th/ 10th as applicable under 10+2 education system or equivalent.

Eligibility Criteria for SCVT Trades

For Art & Craft Teacher Training course

• The candidate should have passed the 10th class examination under 10+2 system and must have studied For Art & Craft Teacher Training course.

Or

• The aspirant must have studied fine art/ commercial arts in 10+2/ B.A or M.A classes.

For Punjabi Stenography

• Aspirants must have passed 10th class examination under 10+2 education system with Punjabi as a compulsory subject in class 10th.

For Cutting Sewing and Embroidery Teacher Training Course

• The candidate must have passed the class 10th examination under 10+2 education system with NTC certificate of Cutting & Sewing or Fashion Technology or Dress Making or BBBT in Apparel sector under CoE scheme and NTC certificate of Embroidery or Hair & Skin Care or Fruit & Vegetable Preservation/ Fruit Processing Trade.

Reservation Criteria

• 85% of the total seats are reserved for the candidates who belong to the state of Punjab. The rest 15% seats are open for the candidates of other states.

Punjab ITI Admission 2023 Application Form

Eligible candidates who wish to apply need to submit an online application form for ITI admission before the last date. To begin the application process, candidates need to access the application form through the official website of the Department of Technical Education and Industrial Training, Punjab.

• After clicking on the link, the candidates have to begin the registration process.
• In the application form, candidates need to enter their educational, personal, and contact details in an accurate manner.
• Please be very careful while entering the details because incorrect details may lead to rejection of the application form.
• Apart from the details, it is also important to upload the scanned images of their passport size photograph and signature.
• Next, the aspirants have to pay the required application fee in online mode.

Punjab ITI Admission 2023 Merit List

• Once the application form submission gets over, authorities will make the merit list available through the official website.
• The merit list comprises of information like name, rank of the candidate, etc.
• Please note that the merit list will be prepared based on the marks secured by the candidates in the entrance exam.
• Those candidates who will get shortlisted will be invited to take part in the counselling process.

Punjab ITI 2023 Counselling

• The counselling for the Punjab ITI Admission 2023 will take place in online mode only.
• In order to participate in the counselling process, the candidates need to register themselves on the official website.
• After registration, aspirants are required to take a printout of the filled particular and visit the nearest DI for the purpose of document verification.
• When the document is verified, candidates can take part in the choice filling process.
