Presidency University 2023 Application Form
The application form for Presidency University UG/PG Admission 2023 will be available online at the official website of the Board at http://www.wbjeeb.in. The applicants need to visit the website and follow the links as Examination>PUBDET/PUMDET>Online Application. Candidates first register themselves online and have to create Login Id and password. Keep safe your login credentials for future use.
After successful registration candidates can access and fill the application form. Candidates are advised to fill up all required entries carefully and correctly. They need to upload a recent passport size photograph and signature in the prescribed format. Applicants will have to pay application fee of Rs 350 + Rs. 10 as added bank charges for both PUBDET and PUMDET examinations. Payment can be made through either online (by net banking, debit/credit cards) or offline (by e-challan) modes.
On successful completion of the application process, the system will automatically generate a confirmation page bearing all the details entered by the applicant. The candidate needs to keep the printout of this page safe with them for further use.
Admission Process
For UG courses
Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of their Merit. The final merit list will be based on summing up of the aggregate percentage marks, scored at the 10+2 level examination and the marks obtained in the respective admission tests. Candidates qualifying more than one subject will be permitted to give their choice during the counselling session.
For PG courses
Admission will be made on merit basis. The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of total marks scored in the respective admission tests.
Selection of SC/ST/OBC-A/B candidates for both UG/PG course will follow the reservation criteria of West Bengal State Higher Education Institutions Act, 2013 and West Bengal State Higher Education Institutions Rules, 2014.
