Pondicherry University Cut-Off 2022, Category Wise Cut-Off

The central Government laid the foundation stone of the Pondicherry University in 1985 and the university which is a central university offers various postgraduate courses in many disciplines in arts, science, engineering, and business administration, etc. The university provides admission to the candidates on the basis of the performance of the candidates in the entrance test which it conducts to screen the candidates for admission in the PG courses.

Here, candidates have been provided a brief of the cut-off marks in the entrance tests for the Postgraduate, Ph.D. courses.

The Cut-Off marks are the minimum marks that an examiner has to secure in the entrance exam to ensure admission in the university. The cut-off marks vary and depend on the number of candidates appearing in the exam, question pares’ difficulty level and the number of seats available in the university. The cut-off marks will be published on the official website of Pondicherry University after the commencement of the exam.

The minimum cut-off marks for the candidates who wish to take admission in the Ph.D.&M.Phil.courses will be half of the average marks secured by all the candidates in the respective subject in the entrance exam. Candidates of the OBC/SC/ST/PH category, the cut-off marks will be 10% less than the marks attained by the candidates of the general category.
