The eligibility criteria for postgraduate (PG) and Ph.D. programmes have been explained in the following points:

Eligibility criteria for PG Courses:

• Candidates must have completed three years of’ Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institute or University.
• It is necessary for the applicants to attain a minimum of 50% marks in the higher secondary level exam for the Five Year Integrated Programmes.
• Candidates appearing in the final year of the qualifying exam will also be eligible to apply.

 Eligibility criteria for Ph.D. Courses:

• Candidates applying for Ph.D.programmes must have completed the Master’s degree from a recognized institute/University.
• Candidates need to have attained a minimum of 55% marks to be eligible for admission in Ph.D. admission.
• Candidates must not be less than 17 years old.

• Pondicherry University application form will be available on the official website of the University.
• The application form will be filled and submitted with the correct information as asked in the application form.
• Candidates will be required to attach the scanned photo and signature with the application form.
• Candidates can submit the application form after making the payment of the application fee.

• Candidates will have to pay the application while submitting the application form through the online or offline mode.
• The application fee will be different for different programmes.
• The application fee can be paid through credit card, debit card or net banking.
• Candidates can apply the application fee through the offline mode such as the bank challan or DD.
• Non-resident Indians (NRI) and Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) will be required to pay $100 as the application fee.

Pondicherry University Admission Exam Pattern 

• Pondicherry University will conduct the Entrance Exam through online mode.
• The question paper will be of objective nature comprising 100 multiple-choice questions.
• Every question in the exam will be of 4 marks making the weightage of the question paper of 400 marks.
