Eligibility Criteria for PEC University of Technology B.E/B.Tech Admission

Candidates must satisfy eligibility conditions before applying B.E/B.Tech admission at PEC Chandigarh.

• Candidates should have done Class XII board exams with minimum qualifying marks, or those who are appearing/pursuing Class 12^th may also eligible to apply.
• The candidate must hold a valid JEE Main Rank.
• Candidates with amount overdue are not eligible
• Candidates claiming reservation quota should produce the necessary certificates, if they fail to do so, their candidature will be cancelled.
• NRI/Foreign applicants should follow the rules and regulations prescribed by the Government of India and Panjab University.

PEC University of Technology Application Form: How to apply?

Interested and eligible candidates have to apply online separately with JAC (Joint Admission Committee). For Registration process, candidates need to visit the official website link i.e. www.chdenggadmissions.nic.in. Candidates are advised to fill the application form with correct personal details and JEE Admit Card details i.e. roll number, application number, candidate name, examination score, birth date etc. They need to submit the application fee from any modes available – e-challan or HDFC Bank debit/ credit card.

Selection Process

Admission of candidates will be done on the basis of scores obtained in JEE Main and class 12^th in the ratio of 60:40. This procedure is called as normalization. The applicants will be judged by normalized scores. An inter-se merit list will be taken into account while inviting applicants for counselling. Applicants who are acknowledged eligible by CBSE for central counselling will also be allowed to participate in JAC counselling as well.

PEC University of Technology B.Tech Counselling & Seat Allotment

The selected applicants should download their Counselling letter from the official website, as no separate letter will be issued by post or e-mail to any individual. The PEC Counselling procedure will include the following stages:

1. Online Registration, Document Verification and Payment of Registration fees
2. Physical presence at counseling venue for verification of documents
3. Online filling up of choices
4. Mock Counselling
5. Choices locking and printing it
6. Seat distribution
7. First Round Counselling
8. Second Round Counselling
9. Third Round Counselling
10. After completion of Round 3, reporting at the institute
11. Spot Round of counselling
12. Withdrawal of chosen seats and refund of fees

Applicants are suggested not to share their Registration number and password with any person. The conducting authority will not be responsible for any misuse of the login credentials.

Seat allotment:

• As per the choices of colleges filled by the applicants, availability of seats and JEE rank, applicants would be allotted seats in the affiliated colleges.
• The distribution of seats will be done in several rounds.
• Allotted applicants will be given the choice to keep or leave the seat.
