B.Com (Hons.) is an industry preferred, job-oriented three years regular degree course offered by Osmania University. The Department of Commerce, Osmania University (OU) will be organizing a common entrance test (CET) for granting admission into B.Com (Hons.) for the academic session 2020-21.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who have cleared their Intermediate (10+2) Exams from relevant discipline conducted by the Board of Intermediate Exams, Andhra Pradesh or any other equivalent Board of Education are eligible to apply.

Osmania University B.Com (Hons) Common Entrance Test Application Form: How to apply?

Interested and eligible candidates can obtain the Application forms along with prospectus from the designated colleges on payment of Rs. 400/- as per prescribed schedule. Candidates should meet with the eligibility conditions before buying and filling up the application form. Send the duly filled in application along with requisite documents before the due date.

Entrance examination pattern

The Osmania University B Com Honours Entrance Examination will comprise 100 questions for 100 marks. The distribution of marks will be done in the following way

• Business Concepts – 30 Marks
• Numerical Ability – 25 Marks
• General Knowledge – 15 Marks
• Reading Comprehension – 10 Marks
• Grammar – 10 Marks
• Essay Writing – 10 Marks

All the questions apart from essay writing will be in objective multiple-choice (MCQs) mode.

Counselling Process

Selected candidates who have qualified entrance exam will be invited for counseling process which held at Indian Institute of Management and Commerce, Hyderabad. Candidates should report at counseling in person along with all required documents.
