Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria prescribed below can apply for Odisha ITI Admission 2023:

  • Candidates with age 14 years and above as on 01.08.2023 are eligible for admission. There is no upper age limit.
  • The minimum eligibility for admission to ITI is a pass in class 10th of Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha or its equivalent.

Odisha ITI 2023 Application Form

The application form for Orissa ITI Admission 2023 will be made available on the websites dtetodisha.gov.in or samsodisha.gov.in. Candidates are advised to read the important instructions carefully before proceeding with the application process.

  • Candidates will have to fill a registration form first providing details like name, mobile number, email id, etc.
  • The registered phone number will be verified through OTP after which the candidates will be required to create a password.
  • Using their phone number as user id and the password, the candidates can login to fill their application form.
  • In the application form, the candidates will have to provide rest personal details, academic details, contact details, bank details, category details, income details, etc.
  • After providing these details, the candidates need to upload their scanned photograph into the form.
  • Next step will be the entering of choices (minimum 5) for trade and institute for admission.
  • Candidates then need to submit their application form along with the prescribed amount of application fee.
  • Once the payment is confirmed, the candidates can take print out of the application form.

Application fee:

  • The application fee for Odisha ITI admission will be Rs. 100/-.
  • Payment of the application fee can be done online using net banking/ debit card/ credit card.

Verification of CAF

The applicants need to report to their nearest Nodal Center carrying a printout of their application form and other documents for verification. The e-Admission Validation Team Member at Nodal (ITI) Center will validate the submitted CAF online by comparing the information with the relevant documents.

Important Documents

The candidates should carry the following documents while reporting to the Nodal Center:

  • Copy of the application form
  • For 8th pass student, subject wise mark sheet in the school letterhead duly signed by the Principal with seal of the school.
  • Compartmental HSC mark sheet (only for the applicants passed compartmentally)
  • Certificates in support of reservation from appropriate authority
  • Certificates for claiming weightage from appropriate authority
  • Resident/ Nativity Certificate/ Voter ID/ Aadhaar Card/ Ration Card to avail district reservation in Govt. ITIs

Odisha ITI 2023 Merit List

  • On the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in their class 10th exam, a merit list will be prepared.
  • Only those candidates will be considered in the merit list whose applications are verified successfully.
  • The merit list along with the intimation letters to selected applicants will be made available on the official website.
  • Communication regarding the release of the intimation letter will also be sent to the candidates on their registered mobile number.

  • Seats will be allotted to the candidates as per their choice and merit, the details of which will be mentioned in the intimation letter.
  • The candidates who are allotted a seat should report to the allotted institute with the intimation letter and other important documents.

Question 1: Do I need to apply separately for Government and Private ITIs?

Answer: No. There will be one Common Application Form (CAF) for admission to Government as well as Private Industrial Training Institutes in the state.

Question 2: Can I make correction in my application form after submission?

Answer: No. Once submitted, you won’t be able to make any changes in your application form.

Question 3: What documents should I carry while reporting for admission?

Answer: Candidates should carry the intimation letter, Original SLC/CLC certificates, reservation certificate, three color passport size photographs, copy of application form and other relevant documents with them while visiting the allotted institute for admission.

Question 4: Is there any entrance exam for Odisha ITI admission?
