The admissions into diploma courses offered by the government and private institutes of Odisha will be provided on the basis of Odisha DET 2022. The enrolment will be granted into engineering, non-engineering and film & TV courses on the basis of merit in the qualifying exam. The interested candidates will be able to submit their application from the month of April 2022. Odisha DET Application Form 2022

The candidates willing to take admission in Odisha diploma courses will have to submit their application form. The Odisha DET 2022 application form will be released only in online mode on the official website www.dtetodisha.gov.in. In the application form, the candidates will have to enter their basic personal and educational details and also upload their scanned signature and photograph. The filled application form should be submitted along with the required application fee. The application fee is Rs. 250/- (Rs. 200/- for SC/ ST/ PC/ female candidates) and can be paid using debit card/ credit card/ net banking. The candidate must keep a copy of filled-in application form safe with them for future reference.

Odisha DET Eligibility Criteria 2022

The following eligibility criteria for Odisha DET 2022 must be fulfilled by the aspiring candidates:

For admission to 1st semester diploma in engineering/ technology

  • For normal courses: A pass in HSC exam conducted by BSE, Odisha/ 10th standard examination declared equivalent with English, Math & Science subjects and at least 35% aggregate marks and 30% marks in each subject is required.
  • For part-time course: Along with the above-mentioned eligibility for normal course, an additional two year ITI after 10th standard or 2-year work experience in a registered firm/ Company/ Industry/ Educational/ Government, Autonomous Organizations in the relevant field in which admission is sought is also required.

For admission to 1st year diploma in non-engineering

  • A pass in 10+2 from CHSE, Odisha or equivalent in Science/ Arts/ Commerce recognized by CHSE securing 30% marks in each subject is required.
  • For beauty culture course: Same as for 1st semester Engineering/ Technology course.
  • For pharmacy course: A pass in +2 with 35% marks in aggregate with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Mathematics and 30% marks individually in these subjects is required.

For diploma in engineering/ technology under lateral entry

A pass in +2 Science Examination from CHSE, Odisha or equivalent with PCM /+2 Vocational (2 years course) in any Engineering Trades/ 2 years ITI in Engineering Trade/ COE Trade with pass in HSC examination conducted by BSE, Odisha/ 10th standard examination declared equivalent securing 30% marks in each subject is required.

For admission to 1st semester diploma in film & TV courses of BPFTIO, Cuttack

A pass in 10+2 from any board declared as equivalent by CHSE, Odisha with minimum 35% marks in aggregate is required.

Merit List

On the basis of marks secured in the qualifying exam, a merit list of the candidates will be prepared. Separate merit lists will be prepared for admissions into different courses. Category-wise merit list will be drawn for candidates belonging to different categories. On the basis of name in the merit list, the candidates will be allowed to participate in the further process of admission.

Odisha DET 2022 Counseling

The selected applicants will have to attend counseling where they will be able to select the course and institution of their choice. At the time of counseling, the documents of the candidate will also be verified. The candidates must bring the following documents at the time of counseling:

  • Pass certificate and mark sheet of High School Certificate (HSC) examination awarded by BSE, Odisha/ 10th standard examination certificate declared equivalent
  • Caste Certificate (SC/ ST)
  • Sports Certificate (if applicable)
  • NCC certificate (if applicable)
  • Employers’ certificate (if applicable)
  • Green Card of parent (if applicable)
  • Permanent Residence Certificate (if applicable)
  • Annual Income Certificate (if applicable)
  • ITI Pass/ +2 Science (PCM)/ +2 Vocational pass certificate & mark sheet issued by SCTE&VT, Odisha/ CHSE/ 12th standard examination declared equivalent by CHSE, respectively
  • Medical fitness certificate from Government Doctor
  • Sponsorship/ Working experience of minimum 2 years (for Part-time programme)

Odisha DET 2022 Admission

The candidates who have allotted a seat during counseling will have to report to the allotted institute to complete the admission process. The candidates will have to submit the following documents in original at the time of admission:

  • Seat Allotment Letter downloaded from the website
  • Fee deposit slip (institute copy) in respect of seat allotment
  • Conduct Certificate and SLC/ CLC from the institution last studied
  • Recent passport size photographs duly attested
  • Migration Certificate in case of candidates passing 10th standard examination from any board other than BSE, Odisha
