Educational Qualification – Candidates must have passed the higher Secondary (+2) Examination of the Council of Higher Secondary Education, Odisha or its equivalent from a recognized board.

Odisha +3 Admission Application Form 2022 

Those candidates who are looking to apply must make sure that they are eligible. The application form will release online through the official website only. Interested candidates may check the step by step to submit the application form as given below.

  • To begin the online application form submission, you need to visit the official website of SAMS i.e. www.samodisha.gov.in.
  • On the home page of the official website, you should click on the Degree (+3) link under the higher education banner.
  • Next, Click on the “New Student Registration” button and Enter Name of the Student, Mobile Number and mail id in the box provided.
  • Finish up the registration process by verifying OTP that you will receive on your phone number.
  • After registration, you can log in to the SAMS Application using the user name (mobile number) & password given during online registration.
  • Once logged in, you need to provide your complete educational, personal, and contact details.
  • Along with the details, candidates have to choose a minimum of five and a maximum of ten preferences in her/his Common Application Form (CAF).
  • It is also necessary for candidates to pay the required application fee at the time of filling the form.
  • Aspirants are also required to take a printout of the application form for future requirements.

Application Fee

The application fees for candidates of various categories are as follows.

  • For General Candidates – Rs. 275/-
  • SC/ ST Candidates – Rs. 175/-

Note: To get the benefit of fees rebate, you need to submit your caste certificate during admission from e-District Portal at the destination college or else you will pay the differential amount.

Mode of Payment – Aspirants can pay the application fee online using a credit card, debit card, or internet banking.

Odisha +3 Admission 2022 Selection Process

  • Admission into various Streams, Colleges, and Honours shall be done strictly on the basis of merit.
  • The merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks secured at the Higher Secondary (+2) Examination out of the Total Marks.
  • Please note that Weightage and Reservation (if applicable) will be taken into consideration in preparing the merit list.
  • In case two or more candidates opted for one college and one stream and have equal marks in the higher secondary exam if it is for Arts/Commerce streams, then the applicant who has more marks in English. If English marks of both applicants are also same, then marks in MIL will determine the selection. For Science Stream, English/Chemistry marks will be deciding factor in a similar sequence.

Result and Merit List

  • Once the application form submission process gets over, authorities will upload the merit list online.
  • Apart from this, authorities will also send intimation letters to all selected applicants.
  • Please note that authorities will send intimation for e-Admission will be communicated through the following modes.
    • SMS to the mobile number provided in the CAF
    • Email id provided in the CAF
    • An applicant can get the information by dialing Sanjog Helpline Toll Free (155335 OR 1800-345-6770) Number by giving their Money Receipt-Cum-Index Number on all Government working days between 06 A.M. to 10 P.M.
    • Notice board of Destination College (where an applicant is selected to take admission)
    • A selected applicant can download the intimation letter directly from the website www.dheodisha.gov.in / www.samsodisha.gov.in

Odisha +3 Admission Procedure 2022

  • Candidates selected for admission need to pay the admission fee online, by log in to her/his student login. After successful payment she/  he can take the printout of the Intimation Letter.
  • Then, aspirants have to produce all original documents for verification only at the destination colleges.
  • Along with the original documents, candidates should also carry one set of photocopies of the documents.
  • After successful admission, if a student wants to participate in the slide up process, then she/ he has to log in to the SAMS account to submit her/his consent within the specified timeline.

Documents Required

Aspirants must carry the following documents at the time of admission.

  • Original Certificates
    • Higher Secondary (+2) Mark Sheets-cum-Provisional Certificate (or equivalent Board).
    • College/School Leaving and Conduct certificates from the educational institution last attended.
    • Schedule Tribe / Schedule Caste (Domicile only in Odisha) certificates from revenue officer not below rank of Tahsildar / Additional Tahsildar.
    • PwD certificate from CDMO/SDMO/CMO of Capital Hospital (in case of Bhubaneswar) and (CMO RGH in case of Rourkela Municipal Corporation).
    • Ex-Service Man certificate from Zilla Sainik Board / Rajya Sainik Board
    • Service Defense Personnel-SDP (Army/Navy/Air Force) Certificate from the Commanding Officer of the unit.
    • Children of Martyrs (CoM) certificate from the District Collector
    • NCC certificate from the competent authority.
    • NSS certificate from the State Program Coordinator.
    • Migration certificate for the applicants passing from other Boards other than CHSE, Odisha
    • Sports certificate from the appropriate authority and countersigned by commissioner-cum-secretary
  • Total fees for admission (as mentioned against each college in the 2nd part of CP).
  • 3 passport size photographs
  • Original Documents are to be retained by the College Authority:
    • School/College Leaving Certificate issued by the Institution last attended.
    • Conduct Certificate issued by the Institution last attended.

  • Following Original Documents are to be returned by the College Authority to the applicant after the admission process is over.
