NIT Bhopal (Formerly, Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology) is a ‘National Importance’ categorized educational institution based in Bhopal, Maharashtra. The institute was started in 1960 as Maulana Azad College of Technology. It was initially started as a polytechnic college with an intake of 120 students and 7 Teaching staffs, later the organization converted into National Institute of Technology (NIT) that working under the Ministry of Higher Education, Government of India. Master’s degree from a UGC recognized university with 55% marks (Minimum) is enough for applying Ph.D in NIT, Bhopal.
