NIMSET BS 2022 Eligibility Criteria
Aspirants should satisfy below eligibility criteria before apply NIMSET BS 2022.
- Applicants, who have qualified MBBS examination from Medical Colleges recognized by Medical Council of India and completed Internship at the time of their applying are eligible to appear in the exam.
- Applicants, who will be completing Internship on or before March 2022 are also eligible to apply, however, they need to submit a certificate to the effect that is attested by the Principal/Dean Requirement of the necessary rotating internship will not be excused unless approved by the MCI
- The condonation of mandatory rotating training will be restricted to the prescribed date
- The applicants who have already applied for any regular or part-time programme at NIMS and would like to register for admission to another academic course at NIMS, will quit from such programme in the Institute duly fulfilling the conditions of the bond and fail to do so will leave their applications for admission accountable to be rejected.
NIMSET BS 2022 Application Form: How to Apply?
The application form of NIMSET BS 2022 will be available to download from the official website of university i.e. www.nims.edu.in. They need to submit the hard copy of the application form as per scheduled date. Candidates should visit the NIMS website and fill the form appropriately. All the entries in the application form should be filled in correctly. Incomplete application will be rejected directly. Candidates have to pay the applicable application fee in the form of demand draft drawn in favour of the Director, Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences, payable at Hyderabad or by paying the application fee in NIMS cash counter in person. The candidates need to write their name and course applied for on the back side of the Demand Draft /NIMS cash receipt.
Send the hard copy of the filled-in application form with all mandatory documents and the DD/NIMS cash receipt in person or through post to the Associate Dean, Aptitude Testing, 2nd floor, Old OPD Block, Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences, Punjagutta-500 082, Hyderabad, Telangana State on or before the due date.
NIMSET BS 2022 Admit card
Admit card for NIMSET BS 2022 will be available for downloading and printing to eligible applicants whose applications are complete and accurate in all respects on or before the end date. No candidate will be allowed to appear for the examination center unless he/she holds the valid admit card.
NIMSET BS 2022 Exam Pattern
- The NIMSET BS 2022 entrance exam consists of 150 MCQs with four alternatives covering all subjects carrying a total of 150 marks.
- The duration of exam will be 150 minutes.
- Each right answer will be awarded one mark. No mark will be given for the un-attempted questions. There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong response given by candidates.
NIMSET BS 2022 Selection Process
Admission will be made on the basis of performance of the candidates at the Common Entrance Test NIMSET BS 2022. A Merit list will be made on the basis of the marks scored by the candidates in the test and a separate merit list will be made for each subject. In the event of the equality of marks in the entrance examination, the merit will be determined as follows:
- Applicants obtaining less negative marks will be given preference.
- Applicants obtaining higher aggregate marks in Final MBBS examination (Part I & Part II) will be given preference.

NIMSET BS 2022 Counselling
Selected candidates have to appear for counseling in person with admit card, counseling fee and other important documents in original as prescribed in the information booklet. Candidates who will not report at counseling round on scheduled time will lose their chance for admission and not allowed for second counseling round.
