NExT mock exam 2023 registration has been commenced online from June 28th, 2023. The last date to complete the online registration for NExT (National Exit Test) mock exam is July 10. The NExT Mock exam is going to be held on July 28, 2023, by AIIMS, Delhi. It is a computer-based test conducted to bring uniformity in the cumulative evaluation in Indiaconcerning the minimum common standards of education and practice of a medical graduate.
The NMC NExT exam serves as a Licentiate exam for MBBS students.In the upcoming year, the exam will be conducted in two sessions i.e., May/ November, and is also going to replace FMGE & NEET PG exam from the year 2024. The test is held in two steps – Step I (Theory) & step 2 (practical or clinical/ viva voce). Applicants will have to qualify the Step 1 and accomplish an internship to be eligible for Step 2.

NExT Exam Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must ensure that they satisfy the NMC NExT Eligibility criteria before applying for the exam. The NExT exam is valid for the 2020 Batch onwards. Some of the eligibility norms for the NExT exam are as follows:
Candidates who have undergraduate medical degrees will be eligible forthe NExT exam.
Candidates must have a MBBS degree witha minimum of 50% marksfrom medical colleges approved by NMC.
Candidates in the final year of the qualifying exam are also eligible to apply.
Candidates have to clearNExT paper 1 and then complete a 12-month internship to become eligible for NExT paper 2.
NExT Application Form 2023
The online registration for NExT 2023 Mock/ Practice test has been opened from 28th June 2023. Interested and eligible candidates can apply till July 10, 2023.
The registration process is divided into three stages i.e., Online registration and entering basic information, Generation of Exam UniqueCode & completion of application.
To apply for the exam, candidates need to visit the NExT exam official website and click on the Registration form.
Candidates are advised to read the instructions carefully provided on the screen.
After that, fill out the application form that appeared on the screen, provide your basic details including personal, contact, and address, etc.
Upload the scanned documents like a photograph, signature, category certificate,thumb impression, etc. as per the prescribed format.

Candidate should pay the application fee online using debit card/ credit card & net banking payment gateways.
Candidates from the general & OBC category will have to pay Rs 2000.-. For ST/ SC/ EWS candidates, the application fee is Rs 1000/-. PWD candidates are exempted from the application fee.

NExT Admit Card 2024
Candidates who registered successfully for the exam will be able to download the admit card from the official website of NMC NExT. The authority will release the NExT Hall ticket 2023 for mock/ practice test on 21st July 2023. The admit card will be available in online mode only.
The admit card will comprise the details related to the exam such as the candidate’s name, roll number, exam timing, exam venue, etc. Candidates must bring the admit card with them while appearing for the NExTmock test. The authority will not allow any candidate to sit in the exam without a valid admit card and ID proof.
NExT Exam Result 2023
The official date for the NExT 2023 result has not been announced yet. However, it is expected that the NExTscorecard 2023 for practice /mock test will be available from July / August 2023. The result will be announced separately for computer- based test& practical or clinical/ viva voce.
Candidates who are going to appear in the exam will be allowed to check results online on the official website. Candidates are advised to download their scorecards for future usage.
NExT Cutoff 2023
The NExTcutoff is the minimum qualifying marks that candidates need to achieve to qualify for the exam. The qualifying criteria for both exams- NExT 1 and NExT2are different. The cutoff marks for NExT 1, will be 50% and for NExT Step 2 the passing criteria will be a satisfactory demonstration of skills which will be assessed and declared as a Pass /Fail result.
