NEET for Engineering: It is confirmed by Ministry of Human Resources & Development that there will be a single entrance test for engineering & architecture as similar to National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) from 2018 onward. It will reduce the burden of students for appearing in different engineering entrance tests conducted by State, Private and Central agencies. However, the same has not announced yet officially.
NEET for Engineering
The concept of NEET came into the light once again in the year 2016 for providing admission to MBBS and BDS programs. After a successful execution of this exam, the ministry has decided to introduce a NEET-like entrance test for engineering program also.
The ministry also wants constant suggestions from Deemed and state universities for the successful execution of the proposed test. There is a possibility that the test might be conducted multiple times in a year.
