NCHMCT (National Council of Hotel Management and Catering Technology) will probably release the cut off for the year 2021 in the third week of May 2021. There are several things considered while making cut off of a particular year such as a number of candidates appeared in the exam, complexity level of question papers, common marks acquired by candidates etc. Based on the cutoff, an AIR (All India Rank) will be provided to successful candidates. Talking about the reservation rule specified by NCHMCT, 27% seats are reserved for candidates belonging to SC and ST category whereas, rest 15% and 7.5% seats are reserved for SC and ST category applicants respectively.
The next process after the declaration of cut off is seat allotment process where candidates will be allotted seats based on their performance in the exam.
Details Related to NCHM JEE Merit List 2021
NCHH JEE merit list will be prepared on the basis of candidates’ score in JEE written exam. In such cases when two or more candidates will secure equal marks then the merit list will be determined in following ways:
- Candidates, scored higher marks in English section, will be ranked higher.
- Candidates who scored equal marks in NCHM JEE and English then marks of candidates in Service Aptitude Component of NCHM JEE will be considered.
- If above two rules fail, then candidates who are older in age will be preferred.
