NBU BA L.L.B (Honors) Admission 2023: Candidates, who are willing to make their career in the field of ‘law’, can apply for admission to pursue ‘Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Law’ (BA L.L.B) from North Bengal University (NBU). Eligibility criteria

All the candidates need to satisfy the necessary eligibility criteria to apply for the admission for the B.A.L.L.B course in the NBU. Here are the details about the NBU BA L.L.B (Hons) admission eligibility criteria are provided below:

Educational Qualification

• To be eligible to hold a degree in law from the NBU, candidates need to have passed the higher/senior secondary school examination.
• The school/college must be recognized by the board of education of state or central government.
• Candidates must have passed the senior secondary examination with 55% aggregate marks.
• Candidates of the reserved category must have passed the examination with 50% marks as they will be given the relaxation of 5% marks.

Age Criteria

• Candidates must be 20 years older to be eligible to take admission for B.A.L.L.B from NBU.
• The candidates of the SC and ST category will be given the relaxation of 2 years.
• The age relaxation will be 5 years for the candidates who are physically disabled.
• The age will be calculated from the 1^st July 2023.

NBU BA L.L.B (Hons) Application Form: How to apply?

Allandidates are advised to read all the necessary instructions provided in the official notification of NBU for ‘B.A.L.L.B.’ in prior of submitting their application.

• After confirming with the eligibility criteria, candidates need to apply through the application form.
• The NBU B.A.L.L.B Application Form 2023 will be available online on the official website of the university.
• Candidates will have to fill all the details in the application form as their name, address and the contact information such as mobile/phone number.
• Candidates will also be asked to submit their email ID and the email ID must be active and genuine as the information will be sent thru the email ID only.

Details about the Scanned Photo and Signature

• Candidates will be asked to upload their scanned photo and signature in the application form.
• You need to upload the scanned photo and signature in the format and size as provided in the notification.

Details about the Application Fee

• The application fee of Rs. 150 will be submitted online thru the credit card, debit card or net banking.
• The application fee will be of Rs. 75 for the candidates of SC and ST category.

After the application form is filled and the application fee is submitted online, candidates need to take the printout of the application form.

Attach all the necessary documents as of the educational qualification, caste certificate and if handicapped then the relevant certificate for physical disability.

Send the application form to the registrar office of the university which is ‘University of North Bengal, Raja Rammohunpur, P.O.-N.B.U., Dist-Darjeeling, West Bengal, Pincode-734014.

Selection Procedure

• Candidates’ selection will be made on the basis of the merit list made by the North Bengal University.
• The merit list will be based on the marks of the candidates obtained in the 10+2 examination.
• The admission will also depend on the seat availability for the course of ‘B.A.L.L.B.’
