Introduction
Narendra Dev University of Agriculture and Technology is an agricultural University that is located in the Faizabad district of Uttar Pradesh state. It is a Public University and is affiliated to Indian Council of Agriculture and Research. The University was established on 15th January 1974. The University has its constituent college in the name of Mahamaya College of Agriculture Engineering and Technology. The University was established to cater to the needs and requirements of farmers in eastern UP that were suffering from problems of land, water, scant power supply, poor infrastructure, low purchasing power and poorly drained soils.

Admission Criteria
Admission to students in the University is granted on the basis of joint competitive exam that is organized for all agricultural universities of Uttar Pradesh as per the Provision of Uttar Pradesh Krishi Evam Proudyogiki Vishwavidhyalaya Adhiniyam, 2006. Students have to clear the written.
- For bachelors’ minimum requirement is 10+2 along with 50% marks in science stream
- For Master’s requirements minimum requirement is bachelor’s degree.
- For Ph.D students must have pursued Master’s degree in the same discipline with 50% marks
