The Nalanda Open University takes admission in its B.Ed program through an entrance examination. This examination is targeted towards those candidates who are wishing to make their way into the teaching field. The university will be releasing all the important details regarding this examination. The candidates will be competing for the 500 seats in B.Ed course for the 2-year degree programme. It is important to that 50% of the total seats are reserved for candidates belonging to different quotas. Other 50% seats are open to all. 

Nalanda Open University B.Ed Admission 2023 Eligibility Criteria

The following are the eligibility criteria that need to be fulfilled by those who wish to appear for the Nalanda Open University B.Ed 2023:

• The candidate should be a permanent or temporary teacher in any semi-Government institute, primary school, sustainable accredited by the state or central government.
• Permanent or temporary teacher in any semi-Government institute, primary/middle/secondary/higher school, sustainable accredited by the state or central government, who have completed teacher education program recognized by NCTE in a regular manner.
• Permanent or temporary teacher in any semi-Government institute, primary/middle/secondary/higher school, sustainable accredited by the state or central government, who have a minimum experience of 2 years

Nalanda Open University B.Ed 2023 Application Form

The application form for B.Ed admissions in Nalanda Open University will be released on the official website. The candidates will fill the form, providing all the required credentials and will submit the form along with an application fee of Rs 300/-. For those who send the application form through post, the application fee for them will be Rs 350/-.

Exam Pattern

The question paper will come in the form of written-test with a total of 100 questions. The total marks for the paper will be 100 and the duration of the exam will be 2:30 hours.

Admit Card, Exam and Result

The admit card will also be posted on the university’s official website. The candidates who have submitted the application form correctly and fulfill the eligibility criteria will be able to download their admit card. The details regarding the examination like center and timing will be present on the admit card only.

Few weeks after the commencement of the exam, results will be uploaded on the official website.
