Nagaland Board of School Education is a board of school education that is established in the state of Nagaland. It is indeed a state agency of the Government of Nagaland, India and is responsible for the promotion and development of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education in Nagaland.  The board offers courses of instructions of the examinations and lists out the conditions of the examination, conduct of examination and is responsible for preparing necessary arrangement for the same.

Roles of the Nagaland Board of School Education

Nagaland Board of School Examination is responsible for conducting board exams for Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate, Class 11^th, High School Leaving Certificate Examination, Class 9^th Final Examination, JEE. The board is also responsible for development of curriculum and syllabus and textbooks for Secondary up to Higher Secondary Level. The syllabus and curriculum that is drafted is being based on the National Curriculum Framework 2005.  The results of the exams are declared by the board and are updated on the site.
