MZUEEE 2022: Application Form, Syllabus, Exam Pattern

The Mizoram University (MZU) organizes an entrance exam to shortlist the candidates for admission into B.Tech degree course in Electronics & Communication Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Civil Engineering. Candidates who wish to appear for the exam can submit their online application form tentatively from the month of April 2022 onwards. The entrance exam is expected to be held in the month of May 2022. MZUEEE 2022 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria to apply for MZUEEE 2022 are provided below:

For admission to first year:

• A candidate who has passed the class 12th or its equivalent exam from any recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics scoring a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate (45% marks for SC/ ST candidate) will be eligible for admission.
• Those appearing in the class 12th or equivalent examination in 2022 may also appear in MZUEEE provisionally.
• Only those candidates whose date of birth falls on or after October 01, 1997 are eligible. For SC/ ST/ PWD candidates, upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years, i.e. such candidates should be born on or after October 01, 1992.

For Lateral entry Admission to second year:

• Candidates with 3-year diploma in engineering in relevant branch with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate (55% marks for SC/ ST candidates) may apply for lateral entry.
• Those appearing in the final examination in 2022 may also appear in MZUEEE provisionally.

MZUEEE Application Form 2022

The MZUEEE application form 2022 will be released through online mode. The candidates who wish to appear for the entrance test can obtain the link for the application form from the official website of the university www.mzu.edu.in.

• In the application form, the candidates will have to provide the basic personal details and academic details like name, email address, mobile number, class 12th passing year, marks scored, etc.
• Scanned copies of candidates’ signature and photograph should also be uploaded in the application form as well.
• Details entered into the form should be checked carefully and if any error is found, it should be corrected at once.
• After providing all the details correctly into the application form, the candidates can make its online submission.
• One copy of the application form should be taken and sent to the Assistant Registrar, Academic Administration Office, Mizoram University, Tanhril, Aizawl 796 004, Mizoram along with important documents.
• The candidates are advised to keep a copy of the filled-in application form with them as well.
• An application id and password will be generated after successful form submission that should also be kept safe by the candidates.

Important Documents

The candidates are required to submit the following documents after completion of online application process:

• Downloaded copy of the pdf application form generated after completion of the online form fill up)
• Class X, XII certificate and marksheets
• Diploma certificate and marksheet (for lateral entry students)
• Caste certificate (SC/ ST/ OBC candidates) (if applicable)
• PWD certificate (if applicable)

Application fee:

• The application fee for general/ OBC candidates will be Rs. 700/- and for SC/ ST candidates, it will be Rs. 350/-.
• Candidates can make payment of the application fee online using the net banking facility or via debit card/ credit card.

MZUEEE 2022 Exam Pattern

The basic overview of MZUEEE entrance exam pattern 2022 is provided below:

• Mode of exam: Offline mode
• Duration of exam: 3 hours
• Question paper language: English
• Number of questions: 200
• Type of question: Objective type
• Total marks: 200
• Marking scheme: 1 mark will be awarded for each right answer.
• Negative marking: 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.

MZUEEE Admit Card 2022

• The admit card to appear in the MZUEEE entrance exam 2022 will be released on the official website of the university.
• Candidates should download their admit card, take its printout and carry it to the exam center while reporting for the exam.
• Details of the entrance exam like center and schedule will be communicated to the candidates through their admit card.
• No candidates will be allowed to enter the examination hall in case of absence a valid admit card.
• Admit card damaged or distorted in any manner will not be considered as valid and therefore candidates are suggested to keep multiple copies of the same for protection.

MZUEEE 2022 Result

• The result of the MZUEEE entrance exam will be declared by the authorities on the official university website.
• It is expected that the online result will be announced in the month of June 2022.
• A merit list of the candidates will be prepared based on the marks scored in the entrance exam.
• As per the names of candidates in the merit list, they will be invited to attend the counseling round.

MZUEEE Counseling 2022

• Candidates will be intimated about the details of the counseling and admission process through the official website.
• At the rime of counseling, documents of the candidates will be verified and they will be asked to provide their choice for course specialization and institute.
• Reporting candidates must carry with them all their documents in original and in photocopy for verification.
• Upon successful document verification, seats will be allotted to the candidates according to their choice and merit.
• Selected candidates should then report to the allotted institute and complete the remaining process of admission.

Question 1: When should I expect the release of the MZUEE 2022 application form?

Answer: The application form for the MZUEE 2022 is expected to release in the month of April 2022 through online mode.

Question 2: How can I provide my choice for the entrance exam center?

Answer: The candidates will be given the chance to provide the choice for exam center during the filling of the application form. Details of the exam center allotted will be mentioned in the admit card of the candidates.

Question 3: What if I forget my password for MZUEEE student login?

Answer: You can reset your student login password by clicking the forgot password link available on the official website and providing your application id, email id and mobile number.

Question 4: Payment was made twice for same application form. How can I get it back?

Answer: In this case, a refund will be processed automatically and the additional amount will be credited back to the original credit card/ debit card or bank account.

Question 5: In case I fail to report for the counseling in time what can I do?

Answer: The candidates who fail to report for the counseling or admission process in time will lose their candidature and forfeit their seats. No request from the candidates in this regard will be entertained.
