MP PAHUNT 2023 counseling process is conducted to provide the students admission into BAMS, BUMS, BHMS and BNYS courses. Admissions will be granted into the private and government medical institutes of Madhya Pradesh only. Candidates are selected for the admissions on the basis of their NEET ranking. MP PAHUNT 2023 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for appearing in the MP PAHUNT Counseling 2023 are provided below.

Domicile criteria Candidates must be permanent resident of Madhya Pradesh state to be eligible for admission to Govt. colleges.

Applicants from other state can apply for admission to private institutes.

Age limit The minimum and maximum age of the candidates should be 17 years and 25 years respectively as on 31st December 2023.

A relaxation of 5 years in the upper age limit will be given to the reserved category candidates,

Academic qualification A pass in class 12th from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry and Biology is required.

For BUMS course, Urdu as a subject in class 12 is mandatory.

Qualifying marks At least 50% marks in aggregate in qualifying exam (40% for reserved category candidates) are required.
Others Candidates appearing in their class 12th exam in the year 2023 are eligible to apply too.

Online Registration for MP PAHUNT 2023

Candidates will be notified about the beginning of MP PAHUNT application process through local newspapers and MP Online portal. No mode other than online will be provided to the candidates for filling their application form.

  • Into the application form, the candidates need to provide their personal and academic details.
  • Information related to the NEET UG exam will also be asked into the application form.
  • Photograph and signature of the candidates need to be uploaded into the application form as well.
  • All the details entered into the application form should be checked by the candidates and any error found should be corrected immediately.
  • Duly filled application form can then be submitted by the candidates along with the prescribed application fee.
  • After submission, the candidates are advised to take a printout of the application form and keep it with them for future reference.
  • A registration number and password will be generated after successful registration. The password must be changed during the choice filling.

Choice Filling & Seat Allotment

  • The candidates will be allowed to provide their choice for institute and course through online mode.
  • Candidates need to visit the MP Online portal to fill their choices for counseling round. A total of three rounds of counseling will be held.
  • While providing the choices, the candidates should take care to provide the same in the order of preference.
  • Seats will be allotted to the candidates on the basis of the choice provided and their common merit rank.
  • After the release of the allotment list, candidates will be given two options- to upgrade their choices or to continue with the allotment.
  • Candidates who opt for up-gradation need to make fresh choices during the second round of counseling.
  • Those satisfied with the seats allotted to them need to proceed with the admission process.

MP PAHUNT 2023 Admission Process

  • Candidates who are allotted seats in the different rounds of counseling need to report to the allotted institute for admissions.
  • Reporting candidates should carry with them all the important documents in original and the prescribed amount of fees.
  • The authorities at the institute will again verify the documents of the candidates before granting the candidates the admission.
  • The candidates who fail to report to the allotted institute within the given time limit will not be considered for admission.
  • It is also mandatory for the candidates to go through medical check-up before reporting for the admission.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to submit any fee for the choice filling?

Yes. Candidates providing their choices for the first time need to pay an amount of Rs. 250/- as choice filling fees. For further rounds of choice filling, the fees applicable will be Rs. 100/-.

How can I download my allotment letter if I am allotted any seat during the counseling process?

To download the allotment letter, the candidates need to visit the MP Online portal and provide their NEET roll number, date of birth and password used during the choice filling process.

In case I do not want to enroll into the allotted institute, can I withdraw my admission?

Candidates who wish to withdraw their admission need to intimate about the same about 10 days before the last round of counseling in written. The request should be made to the allotted institute and the submitted fees will be refunded after deducting 10%.

Is it possible to edit the application form after submission?

In case there remains any error into the application form (except NEET details), the candidates can get them corrected at these centers. No change at any later stage will be possible.
