About Model Institute of Engineering and Technology
The Model Institute of Engineering and Technology (MIET) was established in 1996 as thefirst privately owned engineering institute. The institute has been accredited by the All India Council for Technical Education. The Model Institute of Engineering and Technology (MIET) is an engineering college located in Jammu in the state of J&K India. The institute offers various undergraduate courses in engineering and master’s degrees in computer engineering, management and computer applications. The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) has also given the A+ ranking to the Institute.
Candidates, who have completed their higher secondary education (12th) from any board of secondary school education, will be eligible to take part in the admission process to pursue the desired engineering course.

Admission Process Model Institute of Engineering and Technology
Candidates will be given admission on the basis of marks obtained in the Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (BoPEE). The BoPEEis an agency which has been constituted by the J&K State Government.
MCA Admission
Admissions to the MCA programme will be offered to those applicants who qualify the entrance exam which will be conducted by the Jammu University.
MBA Admissions
Candidates having a score card of the MAT/CAT/CMAT with the minimum qualifying percentile in the test will be eligible for admission in the management courses.
