West Bengal Post Graduate Dental Admission Test: West Bengal University of Health and Science (WBUHS) publish the notification for admission to pursue a Post Graduate Degree in Dental Science through WB PGDAT. West Bengal Post Graduate Dental Admission Test Important Dates
The WB PGDAT dates provided in the table below are for general information. The dates can be changed according to the discretion of the university.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates seeking admission into WBUHS must fulfill the eligibility criteria as asked by the university in the official notification. The details of WB PGDAT eligibility criteria are provided below:
- University has made different categories for admission for candidates having different qualifications.
- Candidates mandatorily need to have Bachelors Degree in Dental Surgery (BDS) to be eligible to apply for the admission for PG Degree in Dental Science.
- There are six categories in total which have been described in the table below-

| 3 | Open category C | Those, who have passed the higher/senior secondary examination from the college located in the West Bengal but pursued the BDS from an institute outside of Bengal |
| 4 | Open category D | Candidates, who are not the residents of West Bengal and have passed both the higher secondary examination and the BDS from an institute located outside of West Bengal |
| 5 | Open category E | Government doctors who are working in Bihar but pursue a degree in BDS are also eligible to apply for admission under this category |
| 6 | In service Category | Candidates, who are in service in WBDS/WBDES in West Bengal at least for last three years can also apply for BDS |
WB PGDAT Application form: How to apply?
All the eligible and interested candidates will have to fill and make the submission of their application form before the due date. Candidates are advised not apply without reading the official notification issued by the university.
- The application form will be available online on the official website of WHUHS.
- Candidates can fill and submit the application form online.
- The form will be filled online only and candidates will have to provide all the required information in the application form.
- Candidates’ name, date of birth, local and permanent address, mobile number and the email ID shall also be submitted by the candidates in the application form.
- Candidates will have to upload the scanned photo and signature within the application form.
- The application form will be printed out for submission after the payment of the application fee is made by the candidates.
Details about the Application Fee
- Without making the payment of the application fee, candidates cannot take the printout of the application form.
- All the candidates who wish to apply for the BDS degree and the BDS entrance examination (WBPGDAT) need to make the payment of the application fee.
- The Application will be of Rs. 3000 and can be submitted online thru the credit card, debit card or net banking.
- The application fee can be paid thru offline mode as well with the challan form and the challan form can be downloaded while filling the application form.
Admission procedure
- Candidates will be issued the admit card after they submit the application form. Candidates will have to appear in the entrance test which is West Bengal Post Graduate Dental Admission Test (WBPGDAT).
- Candidates’ marks in the entrance examination/test will ensure whether they will be given admission in the university or not.
