Eligibility Criteria
In order to get admission in MBBS and BDS courses in the state of Uttar Pradesh aspirants should first satisfy the UP MBBS/BDS eligibility criteria as set by the conducting authority. The eligibility conditions are as follows:
- Indian national or OCI applicants are eligible to apply.
- The minimum age limit for admission is 17 years and the upper age limit is 25 years (30 years for candidates belonging to SC/ST category).
- Candidate must passed 10+2 with minimum of 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (40% in case of SC/ST/OBC category and 45% for physically handicapped applicants).
- Candidates should have done the qualifying examination with Chemistry, Physics, Biology/Bio-technology and English.
- Candidate must possess a valid NEET UG scorecard for taking admission in undergraduate medical/dental programmes.
UP MBBS/BDS 2021 Application Process: How to apply
Candidates can fill the application form of UP MBBS/BDS Admission 2021 probably in the month of June 2021 till the last week of June 2021. The application process of UP MBBS/BDS Admission 2021 will be completely online. Candidates should visit the official website of authority in order to fill the application form. While filling the form, candidates have to enter their personal as well as educational details very carefully and correctly. They also have to upload the scanned copies of photograph, signature and NEET Admit card as per the specifications prescribed by the authority. All candidates will have to pay non-refundable application fee while filling in the application form.
Selection Process
Candidates should have to appear in NEET (National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test) in order to get admission in MBBS/BDS courses in Uttar Pradesh. In order to admission to 85% state quota seats, into the various top colleges/Universities of the Uttar Pradesh state, there will be a counselling process held by the state for the allotment of seats. For the leftover 15% seats, Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) & and Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) will conduct counselling after the declaration of result.
