Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Uttarakhand Medical Education University, Dehradun is the responsible authority for conducting Uttarakhand Post Graduate Medical & Dental Entrance Examination (UKPGMEE 2022) entrance examination for the admissions of MD/MS/MDS/PG diploma courses to the Medical and Dental colleges in the state of Uttarakhand. Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility Criteria for MD/MS/MDS/PG Diploma Courses
Those who are interested to study MD/MS/MDS/PG Diploma in Medical Colleges of Uttarakhand through by the UKPGMEE 2022 must fulfill all the following eligibility norms suggested by the institute.
- The applicant must be a citizen of India (As per the Records).
- He/she passed M.B.B.S/B.D.S course from a Medical Council of India (MCI)/Dental Council of India (DCI) approved Medical/Dental College located in Uttarakhand. Also, the applicant completed/will complete -Compulsory Rotatory Internship Training on or before 03.2022.
Note: The candidates who are already admitted to any PG medical /Dental courses in Medical/Dental College in Uttarakhand are not at all eligible to attend UKPGMEE 2022 till he/she completes his/her PG course and passes the examination.
Eligibility Criteria for PG Diploma in Govt. Medical Colleges of Uttar Pradesh for in-service Medical Officers of Provincial Medical & Health Services (P.M.H.S.), Uttarakhand
- The applicant must an in-service medical officer of PMHS, Uttarakhand
- Passed M.B.B.S Examination from a Medical college accredited by the Medical Council of India (MCI). The applicant must submit the MCI approved M.B.B.S certificate at the time of counseling.
- The candidate served a minimum 03 years as a medical officer in the state of Uttarakhand and age of the candidate not crossed 45 year on 31-03-2022.

UKPGMEE Application Form
Candidates can apply for UKPGMEE only via online i.e. through University website www.hnbumu.ac.in. The application form will be available online in the first week of January. To apply, Sign-up first and log-in with the auto generated password. After that, fill up the details such as courses studied and obtained marks percentage, age, address for communication, etc. Upload a 35X45 vivid photo of the candidate. Once after that, pay the application fee via Debit card/Credit Card/Internet banking. After transferring the payment successfully, you will get a receipt on your registered email address and Mobile Phone.

Examination Fee for General and OBC category candidates- Rs. 6000/-
Examination fee for SC & ST category candidates- Rs. 3500/-
How to pay?
The fees for UKPGMEE described above can pay through Net Banking, Credit or Debit Card. UKPGMEE didn’t accept the application fee by cash or demand draft.
UKPGMEE Syllabus
The syllabus of UKPGMEE test will comprises questions to check the subject knowledge of the candidates. The question pattern is prepared as per the ‘latest Graduate Medical Education Regulations/Graduate Dental Education Regulations’ that issued by ‘Medical Council of India/Dental council Of India.’

Admit Card
Those who successfully applied for UKPGMEE-2022 are eligible to get the admit card, which can be download from institute’s official website in the month of January. No candidates are allowable to attend UKPGMEE examination with Admit Card.
Result
The Institute will publish merit list of various courses separately on its official website (www.hnbumu.ac.in.) The candidates can view the results from its official website after entering their roll number in the preferred tab.
Note:
In case, multiple candidates scored equal marks in UKPGMEE, then the selection of the right candidate will be on the basis of following two factors.
- The older candidates will get more preference than the younger
- In case age of the applicant is same than in order of alphabet the names will be placed in merit.
Counseling
The date and procedure for UKPGMEE counseling will release on its official website www.hnbumu.ac.in in the month end of February. Based on the exam result, the institute prepare final merit list and the names of candidates added to the final merit list will later call for counseling secession.
The registration fee for one time counseling will be Rs. 1000/-
