Tamil Nadu PG Dental 2022: Application Form, Important Dates, Admit card, Results etc.

Health and Family welfare Department of Tamil Nadu Government is conducting PG dental course for the admissions to 4O PG dental seats at its various participating institutes in the state of Tamil Nadu. The institute is offering its seats to the candidates on the basis of written examination which is conducting at various centers across the state. Tamil Nadu PG Dental entrance exam is a pen and paper mode test which will conduct in the month of February. Eligibility

  • Only The Indian National Candidates are eligible to apply. However, the overseas citizens of India who are registered under section 7 A of the Citizenship Act 1995 (Centra Act 57 of 1955) are eligible for applying MBBS/BDS course. Such candidates must submit proof of such registration at the time of taking admission.
  • The candidates passed in BDS from the state of Tamil Nadu are only eligible for applying.
  • The applicant must have passed BDS examination from a Dental Council of India affiliated institute and completed their compulsory internship on or before March 31, 2022.
  • The candidates who are pursuing compulsory internship must submit a self-declaration that they can complete rotary internship on or before March 31, 2022.

Not Eligible Category

  • Candidates who joined MDS course from any institute and quit the course for any reason before the course completion.
  • Candidates undergoing MDS course are not eligible for any Post Graduate Degree/Diploma Course.

Tamil Nadu PG Dental 2022: Test Pattern

 The exam comprises of questions that based on BDS syllabus referred by the Dental Council of India. The questions are mainly comes from subjects Including- Human Anatomy Histology and Embryology, Human Physiology, Microbiology, Oral Pathology and Oral Microbiology, General Surgery and General Pathology.

Exam mode: Tamil Nadu PG Dental 2022 Entrance exam will comprises of 250 Multiple Choice questions that have to attend in 3 hours.  Each right answer will get 1 mark. No marks deduction for wrong answers and unattended questions.

Application Form

The applications send only via offline mode. Candidates can download the application from the official website of Health and Family welfare Department, Tamil Nadu Website. Fill the application form as per guidelines and send it to the office of controller of exams (Secretary, Selection Committee, Kilpauk, Chennai -10) before the deadline.

Exam Fee: The exam fee for attending Tamil Nadu PG dental exam is Rs. 2,000, which can be drawn by Demand Draft taken in Favor of The Secretary, Selection Committee payable at Chennai 

Admit Card

The exam authority will send admit card to all the eligible candidates via post. If any candidate didn’t receive the Admit card, they can download the same from the official website by entering their AR Number generated by computer and date of birth. Candidates must paste a clear photograph on the identical space of the Hall ticket.

Result

The exam authority declares the results of candidates for only those who were scored qualifying marks in the entrance test. The result declared after converting the total marks of the examination to 90.

Counseling

The institute will invite the eligible candidates (those who scored qualifying marks in Entrance exam) for attending a counseling secession. The counseling secession will conduct by two phases- Phase 1 and Phase 2.

The candidates invited by the board of examination must submit a demand draft of Rs. 5,00/- in favor of the Secretary, Selection Committee payable at Chennai.
