SBVDUNCET 2021: Sri Balaji Vidhyapeeth -a Deemed University will conduct a common entrance test i.e. SBVDUNCET 2021 for admission to B.Sc. (Nursing) / M.Sc. (Nursing)/ P.B.B.Sc. (Nursing) courses at Kasturba Gandhi Nursing College, Puducherry.

Eligibility criteria

Candidates should satisfy the important eligibility criteria prescribed by Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth before applying for admission. The SBVDUNCET 2021 eligibility criteria are as follows:

For B.Sc. (Nursing)

Educational qualification

Aspirants must have done the H.Sc (Academic / Vocational) examination with scoring at least 45% aggregate marks (40% marks for candidates from SC/ST/OBC category) from the Board of Higher Secondary Examination of Tamil Nadu or any other equivalent examination in any one of the following 3 subjects combinations and must have studied English as one of the Subjects.

• Physics / Medical Laboratory Assistant Course/ Foundation Science
• Biology (Botany & Zoology) / Chemistry/ Physics
• Chemistry / Nursing Course/ Foundation Science /

Age limit

The candidate’s minimum age is 17 years. There will be no upper age limit.

P.B.B.Sc. (Nursing)

Educational qualification

• Aspirants must have done Diploma in Nursing Course from the recognized institutions of INC & TNNMC after completion 10+2 or its equivalent.
• The applicant must possess a certificate of registered Nurse and Midwife with or without experience or PHN in institutions/ hospital after the registration in State Nursing Council.
• No age limit is specified

M.Sc (Nursing)

• Aspirants should possess the degree of Basic B.Sc (Nursing- 4years) / P.B.B.Sc. (Nursing-2 years) of Pondicherry University or equivalent qualification.
• They must pass the qualifying examination with no less than 55% of aggregate marks (50% for candidates from SC/ST category).
• The applicants should hold a certificate of Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife of any State Nursing Council with minimum one year experience after the completion of graduation as per specified date.
• No age limit is specified

SBVDUNCET 2021 Application Form: How to apply?

Candidates, who are going to appear in the Common Entrance Test (SBVUDNCET 2021), organized by Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth for nursing admission, must fill and submit their application in the prescribed format and send directly through post at the address mentioned below. Applicants have to pay an applicable fee through Demand draft which should be drawn in favor of Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth, payable at Puducherry.

Candidates should note that Incomplete /incorrect filled application will be instantly rejected. The application form received after the last date of submission will not also considered under any condition and no further communication in the matter will be entertained. SBV will not be responsible for any postal delay.

Application Fee

Candidates have to pay Rs 500/ as necessary application fee for SBVDUNCET 2021. They can make the payment through cash/in person or via post through Demand draft.

Examination pattern

Admit card /hall ticket

The university will send the Hall Ticket for SBVDUNCET 2021 to all the registered candidates via post. The hall ticket will comprise important details such as candidate’s Name, Registration Number and Photograph, date and time of the exam, examination venue etc. Aspirants should carry their admit card while appearing in the entrance test. Without a valid Hall Ticket no candidate will be allowed to appear in the test.

Merit list

The authority will publish the Rank list / Merit list containing the marks scored by the candidate in the Common Entrance Test on the noticed board of the Colleges as well as its official website. No Separate intimation will be sent to the applicants regarding the release of Merit list.

Selection Process

Selection of candidates for admission to B.Sc. (Nursing) / P.B.B.Sc. (Nursing) / M.Sc. (Nursing) courses on the basis of their marks obtained in SBVDUNCET 2021 exam.
