RUHS Ph.D. Admission Test 2023: Application Form, Admission Test Date, Eligibility

RUHS Ph.D. Admission Test 2023: Rajasthan University of Health Sciences, Jaipur will be inviting online applications from the all eligible applicants of India for admission to PhD Program for the academic year 2023-23 in various Government and private affiliated colleges of Rajasthan state. RUHS offers Ph.D. admission in the faculty of Pharmacy, medicine and Paramedical Sciences.

Eligibility Criteria 

Before filling the online application form candidate must check the eligibility criteria very carefully. The RUHS PhD Admission eligibility conditions for different programmes are listed below:

For Faculty of Medicine

Candidates having M.D., M.S. or equivalent Master’s degree from a college/university recognized by Medical Council of India are eligible to apply for Ph.D. in their subject of specialization.

Or

Clinical subjects: candidates holding M.D., M.S. or equivalent Master’s degree after MBBS recognized by RUHS, Jaipur are eligible to apply for Ph.D. in their subject of specialization.

Or

Pre-clinical/Para-clinical subjects: Candidates holding M.D., M.S. or equivalent Master’s degree after MBBS or non- medical applicants with M.Sc. in Physiology/ Anatomy/ Biochemistry/ Pharmacology/ Microbiology / Radiation Physics from a college or university recognized by Medical Council of India are eligible to register for Ph.D. in their subject of specialization.

For Faculty of Pharmacy

Candidates holding M.Pharm degree or a Master’s degree in Pharmacy can apply for the admission. Such candidates should have scored at least 55% marks in B.Pharm or M.Pharm. There will be a relaxation of 5% marks at PG level for candidates belonging to SC/ST and physically handicapped category.

For Faculty of Para Medical Sciences

Candidates who have done M.Sc. in Radiotherapy Technology can apply for the said programme.

RUHS Ph.D. Admission Test 2023 Application Form: How to apply?

Application form for RUHS Ph.D. Admission test will be available online. Interested and eligible candidates should visit the official website of RUHS i.e. www.ruhsraj.org and fill the online application. Before filling the application form, candidates are suggested to read the instructions for filling online application form very carefully. In case of any discrepancy found during the scrutiny, the candidature of the candidate will be rejected even if he/she comes through the final stage of admission process.

Fill all the details required in application form such as name, address, educational qualification, phone number, father’s name, city etc correctly. Candidates should choose the faculty/Specialization in which they wish to pursue their Ph.D. degree. Upload the scanned copy of required documents in the application form. Check and verify the details filled by you before clicking on “Submit Details” button. No changes will be allowed in the application form once you submitted.

Note down your application form number and password (date of birth) carefully. Keep them safe with you for further use. Candidates have to deposit the applicable application fee through e-Mitra. Take the print out of duly filled application form and affix mandatory documents on it as prescribed. Candidates have to submit this print out copy of application form during the interview.

Examination Pattern

The RUHS Ph.D. admission test will be conducted online mode. The test will consist of two parts as listed below:

Part 1:

An online entrance test will be organized in the following papers (in English language only). The paper will include questions on teaching aptitude, reading comprehension, research aptitude, communication, reasoning, data interpretation, logical reasoning, and information and communication technology.

The Subject for each paper, total marks, and type of questions in each paper are tabled below:

 Part 2: It will include the interview round of 10 marks.

Selection Process

Selection will be made strictly through merit which will be determined on the basis of candidates marks scored in the written exam and interview. All applicants who secure at least of 40% marks in each of the two papers with aggregate 50% marks or more will be considered successful in the RUHS Ph.D Admission Test and will be invited for the interview. In case of tie, the final merit will be prepared in the following order of preference:

• One who has secured more percentage of marks in the PG examination will be given preference.
• In case of further tie, maximum marks scored in the undergraduate examination will be given preference.
