Pondicherry MBBS /BDS Admission 2021: Admission to MBBS and BDS courses in all medical and dental colleges of Pondicherry will to be done on the basis of NEET score. The online application form of Pondicherry MBBS/BDS will be available soon. The MBBS/BDS admission procedure 2021 for Pondicherry will be organized by the Centralised Admission Committee (CENTAC). Candidates who have successfully qualified NEET will be considered eligible to apply for Pondicherry MBBS /BDS admission. Interested and eligible candidates seeking admission in MBBS and BDS course in government, private colleges and deemed universities of Pondicherry should submit the Pondicherry MBBS 2021 Application Form before the due date. The seats will be allotted strictly on the basis of merit list of Pondicherry MBBS/BDS. Final admission will be based on the applicant’s NEET rank and their preferences.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet with the eligibility conditions successfully before applying for MBBS/BDS admission. The eligibility criteria for Pondicherry MBBS /BDS admission are as follows:

• The candidate should be an Indian citizen.
• Applicants of French national living in union territory of Pondicherry covered by the pact of cession are also eligible to apply.
• The minimum age of candidate must be 17 years
• There will be no provision on upper age limit.
• The candidate must possess a domicile certificate of the Pondicherry.
• Aspirants must have completed 10+2 or HSC from the Board of Higher Secondary Examination of Tamil Nadu or any other equivalent examination with Physics, Biology, Chemistry, and English subjects.
• They must secure at least 50% marks in 10+2 (40% in case of the candidates from OBC / MBC/ BCM / EBC/ SC/ BT/category)
• It is must for all candidates to qualify NEET 2021 with prescribed cutoff marks.

Application Form: How to apply?

The application form of the Pondicherry MBBS/BDS admission 2021 will be available online in the month of June 2021 tentatively. Below we’ve listed some instructions to register for Pondicherry MBBS/BDS 2021 Admission for the ease of students.

• Fill all the required personal and academic details in the registration form.
• Candidates have to upload their scanned images of the coloured passport size photograph in the application form as per the prescribed format.
• The applicants should submit the print out of the online entry with the required self attested documents and slip of the paid application fee.
• Candidates will have to submit the print out of the online application form along with fee payment receipt through post/courier via in person to “The Convenor” CENTAC office PEC Campus, Pillaichavady, Puducherry – 605 014.
• For successful application submission, candidates have to pay Rs.500 for one course (for general) and Rs. 250 (for candidates belonging to SC/ST categories). For two courses the fee is Rs 750 (Rs 375 for SC/ST categories) whereas for three courses candidates have to pay Rs.1000 (Rs. 500 for SC/ST categories)
• The payment of above said fee can be made through online mode only i.e. Credit card/Debit Card/Net banking
• Incomplete or applications received after due date will not be considered under any situations.

Merit list

• The organizing committee i.e. CENTAC will prepare the merit list of the Pondicherry MBBS/BDS 2021.
• All the candidates will have to qualify the NEET in order to get listed in the Pondicherry MBBS 2021 Merit list.
• Seats will be allotted on the basis of merit rank and options selected by the candidate.

Pondicherry MBBS /BDS Admission 2021 Counselling

The selected candidates will be called for counselling process on the basis of their merit rank. The process of counselling will be organized in the offline mode at Office of the CENTAC. During the counselling, the process of document verification of all candidates will be done. Therefore candidates are advised to bring all their required original documents while coming to the counselling.
