NUUGET

NUUGET is the entrance exam started by NITTE University for the admissions to MBBS and BDS courses. NITTE University is a venture of NITTE Trust that having numerous educational institutions in the state of Karnataka.  An overview regarding NUUGET is given below. We wrote this article on the basis of reference that we taken from the Boucher released on last year. This article will be updated later. NU UGET Important Dates (Tentative)

Below, we are listing the tentative schedule for NU UGET. All the exam dates mentioned in the below chart are tentative and based on last year exam data. The exact dates will be updated here, after the release of official notification.

Eligibility criteria

Aspirants should satisfy the necessary eligibility criteria before applying for the exam. The details of NU UGET eligibility criteria are listed below:

  • Candidates who passed in the qualifying examination (Class 12) and obtained 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics are eligible to attend the program.

Note: If the candidate belongs to SC/ST category, then 45% marks in the qualifying exam is enough for attending the exam.

  • Only the candidates born in India (as per records) are eligible to apply.

Age: The candidate must have completed 17 years as of the time for taking the admission

Exam Pattern

  • No language other than English is allowed to write the exam.
  • The test pattern consists of 180 multiple choice questions (Physics- 60, Chemistry-60 and Biology-60) that have to attend in 3-hour time duration. Each right answer will be rewarded with 1 marks and there no marks deduction for wrong answers. Therefore the candidates are requested not to leave any questions in unanswered mode.

NUUGET Application Form: How to apply?

Those who are interested in applying for NUUGET can apply online via its official website (http://nitte.edu.in/) in the month of April or via offline by downloading the application from its official website and sending it along with the requested application fee of Rs. 1,500/- by  Demand  Draft has drawn in favor of NITTE University payable at  Karnataka.

Note: Please read thoroughly the ‘How to apply?’ section shown in the NUUGET application form. No changes are possible after the form submission.

Admit Card

Eligible candidates can download the hall ticket from the official website of NITTE University official website after entering their register Number in the suggested tabs. Download and take the print out of the same. Candidate should bring the admit card while appearing in the examination center.

Result

As like the admit card, the institute released the exam result on its official website only. The University shall not inform any candidate their result via post or email or any others modes of communication.
