Entrance Exam details

Admission/Selection Process

  • It is the NEET score only which will be considered for admission in the MP’s medical institutes.
  • Thereafter, candidates need to take part in the admission counselling.
  • The counselling will be conducted by the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) and Directorate General of Health Services (DHGS).
  • After the counselling is conducted, candidates can take admission in the allotted college by completing the admission process of the respective college. 

Eligibility Criteria

  • All the citizens of India will be eligible to apply for MBBS/BDS admission.
  • Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) is also eligible to apply for admission to the MBBS and BDS programme.
  • Candidates must have passed the higher secondary education from any recognized board of secondary education.
  • Candidates need to have studied the subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, and Biology at the higher secondary level.
  • Candidates must have obtained minimum 50% marks in the higher secondary school exam.
  • Those, who are of general category and are physically handicapped, need to have obtained at least 45% marks to be eligible to take admission in the institutes.
  • Candidates of the reserved category can apply for admission with 40% marks.
  • The age of the applicants must be 17 years as on 31 December 2021.
  • The candidates of the reserved category will be eligible to apply for admission up to 30 years of age.
  • Candidates appearing in the 12th exam in 2021 will also be eligible to apply for admission through NEET.
