KVASU M.V.Sc Admission 2021: Eligibility Criteria, Important Dates

KVASU M.V.Sc Admission 2021: Applications will be invited by Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (KVASU) for admission to M.V.Sc Programme for the upcoming academic session. Candidates seeking admission to above programme must apply as per the prescribed schedule. The M.V.Sc Programmes are offered in the following two constituent colleges of the University:

• College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Mannuthy, Thrissur
• College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Pookode, Wayanad

Eligibility Criteria for KVASU M.V.Sc Admission 2021

Candidates must satisfy below eligibility criteria before applying admission to KVASU M.V.Sc programme 2021.

• Candidates must have done Bachelors degree in Veterinary and Animal Sciences recognized by the University with scoring OGPA of 6.0/10 or 50% marks or equivalent OGPA/marks in traditional system. For candidates belonging to SC/ST category needs to obtain at least of 5.5/10 OGPA or equivalent.
• Candidates awaiting results can also apply. They need to produce attested copy of the final mark sheet on or before due date.
• Maximum age limit will be 40 years (45 years for candidates from SC/ST category).

Application Form: How to apply?

All applicants, seeking admission for MVSc programme must fill online application forms. Candidate can obtain the application form online through University website i.e. www.kvasu.ac.in. Fill the all mandatory fields correctly and carefully. Candidates should upload their recent passport size photograph and signature in the prescribed format. After uploading, candidates should proceed for application fee submission. They can make the remittance of the application fee by any of the following methods.

• Application fee payment through DD

Candidates have to pay Rs.1000/- for those belonging to General category and Rs.500/- for candidates from SC/ST category as required application fees in the form of demand draft drawn in favor of Finance Officer, Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Pookode, Wayanad payable at State Bank of Travancore, Kalpetta taken from any nationalized bank. The complete details of Demand draft (DD) must be entered in the application form.

• Through Debit Card/ Credit Card/Internet Banking

Candidates can submit the fee at the time of submission of the application form through online payment mode using debit card/ credit card/Internet banking. Candidates belonging to General Category should remit Rs.1000+Rs 20 (online service charges). Candidates from SC/ST category (Native of Kerala origin) should remit Rs.520/-.

After paying application fee, candidate must take the print out of the online application and send the same after attaching signature of the applicant in the given fields with the necessary enclosures to the ‘The Director (Academics & Research), Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Pookode, Lakkidi P.O, Wayanad-673576 (Kerala) before due date.

Admit card

The applicant can download the admit card from the University website as per the prescribed date. The Admit card will be issued for all the candidates who have applied for. The University will not send admit card to any applicant via post or any other medium except online.

Result

The result of entrance examination and the final rank list will be released in the official website of University on the dates as prescribed. No separate intimation letter will be given to the qualified applicants.

Selection Process

• Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of marks obtained in the entrance examination, experience, interview and the extracurricular activities of the student. The university will organize a separate entrance examination and interview for the candidate’s selection.
• Applicants will be selected for admission only if they obtain at least of 40% marks (30% for candidates from SC/ST category) in the entrance examination.
