Eligibility Criteria for MD/MS Programs

Candidates can check here the eligibility criteria for admission to MD/MS programs offered by Dr. D.Y. Patil University:

• Candidates having MBBS degree from a medical college recognized by medical council of India are eligible to apply.
• Candidates having registration either from an authorized state medical council or the MCI after completion of one-year necessary rotator internship are eligible to apply.

Eligibility Criteria for MDS Program

• Candidates who have cleared BDS examination from a dental college recognized by any State Dental Council are eligible to apply.
• Candidates having registration either from an authorized dental council of India or any state Dental Council after completion of one-year necessary rotator internship are eligible to apply.

DPU, Pune Application Form: How to Apply?

• Candidates can download the application form from the official website of Vidyapeeth i.e.dpu.edu.in. Duly filled application form along with a demand draft of Rs. 3,750/-should be reached to the Vidyapeeth office before the mentioned deadline.
• Candidates can also obtain the application form from the Vidyapeeth office by doing payment of Rs. 1500/-in the form of DD or cash from October 2021 onwards. Candidates can also request for application form via post and for the same they need to send a requisition letter including demand draft of Rs. 1750/- should be drawn in favour of “Registrar, Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth, Pune” payable at Pune.

Selection Procedure

Candidates get selected on the basis of their individual performance in the entrance exam which is organized by the university.
