Exam Pattern for MD/MS Programme

  • The mode of conducting AIIMS PG entrance exam for MD/MS programme is online.
  • The possible month of conducting exam is May 2021.
  • The exam duration will be 180 minutes.
  • The language mode of the question paper will be English.
  • There will be 200 multiple choice questions in the exam.
  • Candidates will be awarded with 1 mark for every correct attempt, whereas, 1/3 gets deducted for every incorrect attempt.
  • The syllabus of the exam will contain questions from the subjects taught at MBBS level.

Exam Pattern for MDS Programme

  • The mode of conducting AIIMS PG entrance exam for MDS programme will be online.
  • The exam will be conducted over a period of 90 minutes.
  • The language mode of the question paper will be English.
  • There will be 90 multiple choice questions asked in the exam.
  • Candidates will be awarded with 1 mark for every correct attempt, whereas, 1/3 marks will be deducted for every incorrect attempt.
  • Questions are to be asked in the exam from the subjects taught at BDS level.

  • Pre-clinical – Bio-chemistry, Physiology, Anatomy
  • Para-clinical – Microbiology, Pathology, Pharmacology, Forensic Medicine, Community Medicine, etc.
  • Clinical –Obstetrics and gynaecology, Paediatrics, Community Medicine, Medicine and allied subjects (Psychiatry, Dermatology), etc.
  • Surgery and allied subjects – Orthopaedics, Ophthalmology, E.N.T., Anaesthesiology, etc.
