AIIMS MBBS Counselling: Schedule, Document Verification, Seat Allotment

AIIMS MBBS Counselling: The counselling procedure for AIIMS MBBS will be held in offline mode at AIIMS, New Delhi. The AIIMS MBBS counselling for seat allocation will be conducted in the four rounds commencing probably from July. The first round of counselling will be followed by second, third and open counselling which will be conducted on various dates. During AIIMS MBBS counselling 2020, candidates must not forget to bring the important documents. It is must for all AIIMS MBBS qualified candidates to attend the counselling session physically based on their merit. AIIMS MBBS Counselling Important dates (tentative)

The counselling for AIIMS MBBS will begin soon after the announcement of AIIMS MBBS Result. The conducting body hasn’t published the actual schedule for AIIMS MBBS counselling The dates will be updated here, once the official announcement is made by the authority. Download Counselling Call Letter First

Candidates, who are eligible for counselling, they have to download the counselling call letter without any fail. In absence of this document, the candidate won’t be permitted to attend the counselling under any circumstances.

One can download his/her call letter by using his/her login id and password. Please keep in mind the seat allotment process will be completely based on the merit of candidates. No other parameters will be applicable while selecting candidates for admission.

Important Documents Should be Kept Ready for Counselling

Candidates must be present during counselling along with following documents in original along with its self-attested copies:

• Admit card and call letter issued by AIIMS, New Delhi;
• Migration certificate which is issued by the respective Board/University.
• Date of birth proof (High School/Matriculation certificate/Birth certificate)
• Qualifying exam mark sheet/certificate;
• Certificate as enclosed in the admission brochure;
• Six copies of recently taken passport size photograph;

Important Instructions for Counselling

• Candidates will be called for counselling based on the merit only.
• In the counselling round, seats to be filled by general category or unreserved category would be filled up first, in which the candidates would be invited for counselling based on their merit only irrespective of whether they belong to SC, ST, UR, or OBC
• Reserved category seats will be filled after filling all unreserved seats.
• Candidates selected under open merit list they should attend the counselling as per the scheme and timeline.
• Candidates who are either absent or refused to take a seat, they won’t be permitted to attend the counselling session for reserved seats.
• The candidate who got a seat during open merit-based counselling he/she may change his/her choice of Institute after attending the counselling for reserved category candidates.
• In case merit of two or more applicants in the same category scoring equal total marks in the AIIMS MBBS Exam will be determined in order of:
  • Students scoring higher marks in Biology in the entrance exam.
  • Students scoring higher in Chemistry in the exam
  • Candidates scoring higher in Physics in the test.
  • Students older in age to be preferred.
• Candidates who are selected for AIIMS Bhubaneswar, Bhopal, Raipur, Rishikesh, Patna and Jodhpur they need to attend the help desk counter at Jawaharlal Auditorium, AIIMS, New Delhi.

​AIIMS MBBS Answer Key

• AIIMS MBBS entrance exam is a computer-based test, so getting the exam answer key is not possible.
• The answer key of AIIMS MBBS will be available only when it will be officially published by the conducting body, i.e. AIIMS, New Delhi.
• The list of the qualified candidates who are eligible to appear in the counselling will be declared tentatively in the month of June 2020. Roll numbers of the candidates who qualify for the admissions will be published on the official website of AIIMS i.e. www.aiimsexams.org.
• The percentile scores/ marks of individual candidate will also be made available on AIIMS website.
• It should be noted that the requests for re-evaluation/re-checking will not be entertained under any situations
