Management Aptitude Test (or) MAT is an admission procedure conducted for various B-schools and in states across India. The principal organizer of CAT exam series is AIMA (All India Management Association) and it conducted 4 times in a year, i.e. in the months of February, May, September, and December.  MAT exam was started in 2003 as a national level test, initial stage IIM like autonomous organizations was only its principal partner and latter many private level educational organizations starts accepting MAT scores for their admissions to various management level programs. So, that is the reason why cracking the MAT exam is essential to get an admission in top leading institutes.

    • Exam Duration- 2 Hr 30 Minutes
    • Total number of questions: 200 (40 questions in each of the section)

MAT Eligibility 2021

Graduate candidates who have 50% above in commerce or any such other equivalent discipline are eligible to apply for this course.

MAT Syllabus 2021

MAT syllabus included 5 objective type sections that are scored One mark per correct question.

Section 1: Language Comprehension. Topics: verbal Reasoning, Analogies, fill in the blanks, sentence completion, foreign language words used in English, idioms etc.

Section II: Mathematical Skills. Topics: simple interest calculations, Percentage calculation, set theory, co-ordinate geometry, vectors and trigonometry

Section III: Data Analysis and Sufficiency: Topics: Time calculation, Percentage calculation, logarithm, bar graphs, pie graphs and Time-speed-distance calculation related queries.

Section IV: General Intelligence and Critical Reasoning: Topics: word substitution, Statement and Assumptions; Puzzles matrix, probability and aptitude type questions

Section V: Indian and Global Environment respectively: Topics: Social contemporary happenings, Business analytics, world records, books and authors, science, business and queries that related to top companies.
