All India Management Association (AIMA) is the concerned authority that will organize Management Aptitude Test 2021. It is one of most popular management entrance exams organized for offering admission to MBA/PGDM courses. This national level entrance test is held four times in a year. MAT 2021 Eligibility Criteria

It is must for all candidates to ensure their eligibility before applying MAT 2021 exam.  The conducting body has determined some set of conditions which candidates have to fulfill in order to take the entrance examination. Here, candidates can check the complete details on MAT eligibility criteria 2021:

Qualification criteria: The applicants should have done graduation in any discipline. The candidates who are in final year of their graduate courses can also apply. There is a minimum percentage of marks required in the graduation which is different for different management institutes. The details can be found on the specific institute’s prospectus.

Age criteria: There will be no provision for age criteria.

MAT 2021 Application form: How to apply?

MAT application form 2021 will be available either through online mode on the official website of AIMA. The candidates will have to register themselves before they can start filling out the application form. In the application form, the candidates will have to provide the personal and academic details. The candidates will also have to upload the scanned copies of their photograph and signature. After this, the applicants will have to make the application fee payment. After the fee payment is done, no editing in the application form will be possible.

Application Fee:

The application fee payment can be made through debit card/ credit card/net banking. The fee will be Rs 1550/- for either Paper Based Test (PBT) or Computer Based Test (CBT).

MAT 2021 Exam Pattern

It is necessary for all candidates to have to good knowledge on the examination scheme. The exam pattern will provide them familiarity with the type of questions asked in the exam, sections covered and the exam marking scheme. Below, we’ve provided the MAT 2021 exam pattern details.

MAT 2021 Syllabus

Understanding of MAT Syllabus is very important for the better preparation of the exam. The questions in the exam will be asked from five different sections including i.e. Language Comprehension, Data Analysis and Sufficiency, Intelligence and Critical Reasoning, Mathematical Skills, and Indian and Global Environment.

MAT 2021 Admit Card

Candidates who would register successfully for the exam can download their MAT 2021 admit card as per the schedule. The admit card can only be downloaded from the official website and will not be issued via post or through any other modes. The admit card for CBT and PBT will be released separately. MAT 2021 admit card will contain the details like candidate name, Roll No., Form No, date and timing of the test and exam center address.

MAT 2021 Exam Centres

The exam centers for PBT and CBT will be different. At some centers, the option for both PBT and CBT will be provided. The centers will be located in different cities situated all over the country. As per their mode of exam, the candidates can opt for nearby test centers in their application form.

AIMA reserves the right to change venue of a test centre/test mode or cancel a test centre/test mode due to any administrative or other reasons.

Exam Schedule

  • The candidates can choose any one of the Paper Based Test (PBT) or Computer Based Test (CBT).
  • The duration of the exam will be 2 hours and 30 minutes.
  • The paper based test will be conducted in a single time slot. The tentative time slot for PBT is 10 am to 12:30 pm.
  • The computer based test will be conducted in different slots. If there are limited candidates who can be accommodated in a single day, the test will be completed on that particular day only.

MAT 2021 Result

The result of MAT 2021 will be declared approximately three weeks after the completion of exam. The authority will announce the result online only on its official website. Candidates can check their result by entering roll number, registration number and by selecting month of test.

MAT 2021 Score Card

The MAT Score Card will be published on AIMA website after the announcement of result. Please note down, the score card will be valid only for one session i.e. for admission to that particular year only. The score card of MAT is accepted by the various reputed B-Schools in India. The non-participating institutes many also consider the MAT score for providing admissions to the candidates based on specific cut-off marks and other admission parameters.

MAT 2021 Admission Process

Based on MAT scores, the shortlisted candidates will be invited to appear in further round of selection organized by various management institutes. There will be no centralized counselling organized by the AIMA. Each management institute has its own selection process and candidates have to apply individually for the admission process. Basically, the selection process includes of Group Discussion, Personal Interview and/or Written Ability Test (WAT) rounds. Final admission of candidate will be done on basis of candidate’s performance in written entrance exam and in further rounds.
