Admission at Manipal Institute of Technology – How to apply/application form

In order to apply for admission in Manipal Institute of Technology, candidates must visit the official website of the same i.e. www.manipal.edu. Students can apply for admission only via online mode. They first need to fill the application form and submit it on or before the due date specified. The particulars in the form must be entered very carefully as candidates will not get an opportunity to make changes in their form once it is submitted successfully.

The application form will include basic information such as personal details, educational details, bank details to name a few. Candidates should keep their documents, scanned photograph and signature handy while filling the form. Candidates must pay the required application fee otherwise their applications will be rendered invalid. After submitting the form, candidates need to book a slot for the test as per their convenience. Once the slot is booked, they will receive the admit card for the entrance test immediately. Application Fee

• Candidates need to pay Rs. 600/- as the application fee for all courses. However, for selected courses they need to pay a sum of Rs. 1400/- as the entrance test fee.
• International/NRI/NRI sponsored category candidates must pay Rs. 2500/- towards the application fee.

Eligibility criteria for Manipal Institute of Technology admission

The eligibility criteria that must be fulfilled by the applicants are as follows-

Nationality: Indian Nationals can apply for admission under General category. Whereas, foreign and NRI candidates need to apply under Foreign/NRI category.

For admission in B.Tech program: Candidates  should have passed class 10+2, A Level, IB, American 12th grade or equivalent with Physics, Mathematics and English as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or any technical vocational subjects as optional with a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Mathematics and any one of the optional subjects.

For admission in MCA program: Candidates must possess a valid bachelor s degree’ in Computer Applications, Computer Science or Information Technology with at least 50% aggregate marks.

For admission in M.Tech program: The candidates must possess a valid bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

• Candidates can download the admit card from the official website of the University.
• The admit card will be available to download as soon as the candidates are done with the slot booking.
• Candidates need to take a printout of the admit card and keep it safe for future purpose.
