Founded in the year 1968, Mahatma Phule Krishi Vidyapeeth College of Agriculture (MPKVC), Maharashtra is well known agriculture university which focuses to aid farmers of this state and the enrolled candidates by enlightening them through expansion education and researches. The university got its name from Mahatma Jyotiba Phule who is a great social reformer. It aims at developing technical and scientific manpower for attaining utmost yield and inventing new modes in every farm to get self competence of farmers and consequently more and more exports of their manufacture. MPKVC has a very superior network of research stations broaden over several agro-climatic zones. In all twenty research stations, 16 research testing/verification and 4 State level specialists’ centers are situated in various agro-climatic zones apart from four Zonal research stations.
