Lisie college of Nursing Eligibility norms
Eligibility criteria for admission to B.Sc nursing course
- Candidate must be a citizen of India.
- Applicants who have done Higher Secondary examination of the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala or equivalent examination with minimum aggregate of 50% marks in Biology separately, and 50% marks in Chemistry, Physics, and Biology combined are eligible.
- Candidates who have done their qualifying examination from outside the State of Kerala will generate the certificate of recognition and equivalence of the qualifying examination from any University of Kerala.
- Candidates must have completed 17 years of age on 31st December of the admission year.
Eligibility criteria for admission to Post basic B.SC nursing
- The maximum age limit will be 45 years on or before 31 December of admission year
- Applicant must have done GNM Diploma with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and registered Nurse Midwife from Kerala Nurses & Midwives Council
- Candidate must passed PUC or +2 with science subjects
Eligibility criteria for admission to M.Sc nursing
- Candidates must have done B.Sc. Nursing or Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing from any of the Universities in Kerala or from any Universities outside Kerala which is recognized by any of the Universities in Kerala with obtaining a minimum of 50% marks for the qualifying Examination.
- The rules of eligibility set by the Indian Nursing Council or Kerala Nurses & Midwives Council will also apply.
- Applicant should have minimum of one year work experience (including internship, if any) in any hospital or in a School or college of Nursing with Community Health Programme.
- The upper age of candidate should not be exceeded than 45 years.
Eligibility criteria for admission to Post Basic Diploma in Cardio Thoracic Nursing
- Applicants who have done GNM/B.Sc. (N) or Post Basic B.Sc. (N) or equivalent Examinations recognized by INC/KNMC can apply for the admission.
- Applicant must have RN/RM registration from Kerala Nurses & Midwives Council, Thiruvananthapuram at the time of admission.
- Nurses from other countries should receive a correspondence certificate from INC before admission
- Applicants must be medically fit.
- Both male and female candidates are eligible to apply for admission to course.
Lisie college of Nursing Admission Procedure
Selection will be based on basis of merit, depending on the rank/marks scored by the applicants in the Common Entrance Examination organized by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Government of Kerala.
50% seats will be covered by the Government and 50% will be covered by the Association of the Management of Self Financing Nursing Colleges of Kerala.
Candidates will be invited for counseling on the basis of their particular ranks.
