KVASU MS/ M.Sc Admission 2021: Applications will be invited by Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (KVASU) for admission to MS/M.Sc Programme for the academic year 2021-2022. Candidates seeking admission to above programmes must apply as per prescribed schedule.

Eligibility Criteria for KVASU MS/ M.Sc Admission 2021
- For MS in Wildlife Studies
Candidates should have done Bachelor’s Degree in Biosciences (Zoology, Botany, Forestry, Veterinary Science etc.)
- For M.Sc in Biostatistics
Candidates must have done Bachelor’s degree in Statistics/Mathematics with statistics as additional subject.
- For M.Sc. in Quality Control in Dairy Industry
Candidates must have done Graduation in Dairy Science/ Food Microbiology/ Food Technology/ Biotechnology/ Nutrition &Dietetics/ Food science/ Microbiology with minimum qualifying marks.
- For M.Sc. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology
Candidates must have done Bachelor degree in Biochemistry/ Biotechnology with minimum qualifying marks.
- For M.Sc. in Applied Microbiology
Candidates must have done Bachelor’s degree in Zoology/ Microbiology / Botany/ Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Agriculture /Veterinary Science with minimum qualifying marks.
- For M.Sc. in Animal Biotechnology
Candidates must have done B.Sc./B.Tech in Biotechnology /Degree in Life Science/B.Tech in Dairy Science & Technology subjects with minimum qualifying marks.
- For M.Sc. in Animal Science
Candidates must have done Graduate in Veterinary/Life Sciences with minimum qualifying marks
Note: Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination or awaiting their results can also apply. However, they should produce attested copy of the final year mark list on or before due date.
Application Form: How to apply?
All applicants, seeking admission for M.Sc and MS programme must fill online application forms. Candidate can obtain the application form online through University website i.e. www.kvasu.ac.in. Fill the all mandatory fields correctly and carefully. Candidates should upload their recent passport size photograph and signature in the prescribed format. After uploading, candidates should proceed for application fee submission. They can make the remittance of the application fee by any of the following methods.
- Application fee payment through DD
Candidates have to pay Rs.1000/- for those belonging to General category and Rs.500/- for candidates from SC/ST category as required application fees in the form of demand draft drawn in favor of Finance Officer, Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Pookode, Wayanad payable at State Bank of Travancore, Kalpetta taken from any nationalized bank. The complete details of Demand draft (DD) must be entered in the application form.
- Through debit card/ credit card/Internet banking
Candidate should pay the fee at the time of submission of the application form through online payment mode via debit card/ credit card/Internet banking. The applicants must submit Rs.1020/- as the application fee and bank processing (Rs. 520/- in the case of SC/ST (Native of Kerala origin).
After paying application fee, candidate must take the print out of the online application and send the same after attaching signature of the applicant in the given fields with the necessary enclosures to the ‘The Director (Academics & Research), Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Pookode, Lakkidi P.O, Wayanad-673576 (Kerala) before due date.
Selection Process
Selection will be based on the rank list prepared by the KVASU on the basis of the performance in the entrance Examination conducted by Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University.
