KVASU M.Tech Admission 2021-2022: Eligibility Criteria, Important Dates

KVASU M.Tech Admission 2021: Applications will be invited by Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (KVASU) for admission to M.Tech Programme for the academic session 2021-22. Candidates seeking admission to above programme must apply as per prescribed schedule.

Eligibility Criteria for KVASU M.Tech Admission 2021

Candidates should have done B.Tech (Dairy Science and Technology) or B.Tech (Dairy Technology) with required qualifying marks.

Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination or waiting for the result can also apply. However, they should produce an attested copy of the final year mark sheet on or before the due date.

Application Form: How to apply?

All applicants, seeking admission for M.Tech programme must fill online application forms. Candidate can obtain the application form online through University website i.e. www.kvasu.ac.in. Fill the all mandatory fields correctly and carefully. Candidates should upload their recent passport size photograph and signature in the prescribed format. After uploading, candidates should proceed for application fee submission. They can make the remittance of the application fee by any of the following methods.

• Application fee payment at Federal bank branches through challan

Submit the application after filling the details in application form. When the form submitted, a challan (with student copy, bank copy and University copy) will be automatically generated. Candidates must take the printout of the challan and pay Rs.1020/- (Rs. 520/- in the case of SC/ST (Native of Kerala origin)) as the required Application fee and bank processing charges by using the challan at the nearest Federal Bank counter.

• Through debit card/ credit card/Internet banking

 Candidate should pay the fee at the time of submission of the application form through online payment mode via debit card/ credit card/Internet banking. The applicants must submit Rs.1020/- as the application fee and bank processing (Rs. 520/- in the case of SC/ST (Native of Kerala origin).

After paying application fee, candidate must take the print out of the online application and send the same after attaching signature of the applicant in the given fields with the necessary enclosures to the ‘The Director (Academics & Research), Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Pookode, Lakkidi P.O, Wayanad-673576 (Kerala) before due date.

List of documents to be enclosed with KVASU M.Tech application form

• University copy of the challan (if the payment of fee is made by the challan)
• In-service applicants should produce ‘Non- Objection Certificate’ and experience certificate issued from the concerned controlling officer
• Community Certificate obtained from a Revenue Officer
• Attested copies of certificates in proof of qualifications, age, mark sheet of the qualifying examination, work experience, and sports activities.
• Attested copies of the certificates related to extra-curricular activities
• Attested copy of nativity certificate in the case of applicants from outside Kerala

Selection Process

Selection will be done on the basis of the OGPA obtained in the qualifying exam, score in the entrance examination, interview, experience and the extracurricular activities of the applicant. Applicants will be selected for admission only if they obtain at least of 40% marks (30% for candidates from SC/ST category) in the entrance examination.
