KMAT 2023: Application Form, Dates, Eligibility Criteria

To screen the candidates for admissions into more than 169 B-schools situated in the state of Karnataka, KMAT 2023 will be conducted. The exam will be conducted at the state level and those who qualify this exam will be eligible for admissions to MBA, PGDM and MCA courses. The application form for the exam has been released now and the interested candidates who also meet the eligibility requirements can submit their form. In this article, we are providing important details such as eligibility criteria, syllabus, exam pattern, admit card, etc related to the KMAT 2023 exam.

KMAT 2023 Important Dates

The tentative dates related to KMAT are provided in the table below. The actual dates haven’t been released yet and will be updated here as soon as it is officially announced.

KMAT Eligibility Criteria 2023

The following KMAT 2023 eligibility criteria must be fulfilled by the candidates who wish to apply for this exam:

For MBA/ PGDM courses:

  • The candidates with a 3-year Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree from any recognized education body in Commerce, Management, Arts, Social Sciences, Engineering/ Technology or equivalent are eligible.
  • The candidate should have secured a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ ST candidate).
  • Candidates in the final year of their bachelor’s degree are also eligible.

For MCA course:

  • The candidate should hold a bachelor’s degree and must have secured at least 50% marks in aggregate.
  • The applicants should have studied Mathematics at 10+2 or at graduation level.
  • Appearing candidates can also apply for the exam.

KMAT Application Form 2023

KMAT 2023 application form has been released in online mode and the candidates can obtain it from the official website. The application form will ask the details of the candidates such as name, date of birth, gender, category, details of the qualifying exam such as board/ university, name of exam, marks obtained, contact details such as email id, contact number, address, etc. After providing all the important information into the form, the candidate must submit it on or before the last date. An application number will be generated after the final form submission that must be kept safe for future reference.

Application fee:

Along with the application form, the candidates are also required to submit the application fee of Rs. 800/-. The application fee payment can be done via debit card/ credit card/ net banking.

KMAT 2023 Exam Pattern

To provide the candidates familiarity with the exam, the KMAT exam pattern is provided below:

  • Mode of paper: Offline (Pen-and-paper based)
  • Maximum marks: 120
  • No. of sections: 3
  • Type of questions: Multiple-choice questions
  • Total no. of questions: 120
  • Marking scheme: 1 mark will be given for each right answer
  • Negative marking: There will be no negative marking

KMAT Syllabus 2023

KAMT 2023 syllabus in detail is given as:

  • Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension: Comprehension of Passages, Sentence Completion, Grammar, Vocabulary, Synonyms, Antonyms, Passages and Choice of Appropriate Words, Phrases, Expressions and Similar Language skills, etc
  • Quantitative Ability: Number System, Ratio & Proportion, Percentage, Simple & Compound Interest, Time & Speed, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Interpretation of Tables, Graphs & Pie Charts, etc
  • Logical Reasoning: Seating Arrangement, Circular Arrangements, Blood Relation, Selection and Conditionals, Coding & Decoding, Data Interpretation, etc

KMAT 2023 Admit Card

The candidate who apply successfully for the management test will be able to download their admit card from the official website. The candidate should take a printout of the KMAT admit card 2023 and carry it along with a valid identity proof to the examination center. The admit card will contain the details of the exam date, time and venue and the candidate must report to the exam center as per the details mentioned in the admit card.

KMAT 2023 Result

KMAT result 2023 will be declared in online mode on the official website. The candidates will be able to check the result by entering the details of their application number and date of birth. The scorecard will be made available to both the candidates and the management institutes participating in the KMAT.
