KLEU AIET 2023: Important dates, Application Form, Eligibility Criteria

KLE University will conduct the KLEU AIET 2023 exam to screen the candidates for its UG courses in Nursing, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, and allied courses. The candidates looking to appear for this exam have to submit the application form in online mode before the last date. It is expected that the university will release the application form in the month of April 2023. The exam is expected to be held in the month of June 2023.  The candidates should know that KLEU AIET 2023 is an offline exam, in which they have to answer 200 multiple choice questions.

The eligibility criteria in order to appear for the KLEU AIET depend upon the course for which the candidate is applying. For submitting the application form, the aspirants must check the eligibility criteria because the application fee is non-refundable. The complete details regarding the exam are discussed in this post.

Major Highlights of the Exam

• The application process of KLEU AIET 2023 will take place online but the exam will be held in offline mode only.
• In this exam, the candidates have to answer 200 questions within 3 hours.
• There is no negative marking so the candidates may attempt the maximum number of questions.
• For admission to B.Sc Nursing and PB-B.Sc nursing, the applicants need to present a certificate of physical fitness issued by a registered Medical Practitioner.
• The application form submission is expected to start from the 3^rd week of April 2023.
• After the entrance exam, the university will provide admission only after the proper verification of documents.

KLEU AIET 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Here are the eligibility criteria for admission through KLUE AIET exam.

• In order to appear for the KLUE AIET exam 2023, the candidates need to clear the PUC II/ 10+2/ HSC or equivalent exam from a board recognized by the ministry of human resource development (MHRD), Govt. of India.
• The candidates going to appear for the exam or waiting for the result can also apply.

Eligibility criteria for different courses are as follows:

B.Sc (Nursing)

• The applicant must pass 10+2 or equivalent exam with at least 45% aggregate marks in physics, chemistry, biology, and English.
• Must pass in English subject individually
• SC/ ST candidates will get a relaxation of 5% marks in the qualifying exam.
• The candidate must be physically fit.

P.B-B.Sc (Nursing)

• The candidate must pass GNM (Diploma Programme).
• Must be a registered nurse.
• The applicant needs to be physically fit.

B.Pharm

• The applicant needs to pass the 10+2 or equivalent exam with Chemistry, Physics, and any one of the following subjects Computer Science/ Mathematics/ Biology/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational/ PC & Electronics subject.
• It is compulsory for the candidates to score a minimum of 40% aggregate marks in the above subjects. 35% for the students from reserved categories.

BPT

• To get admission in BPT course, the candidate must pass the 10+2 exam with Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects.
• The aspirant must have at least 40% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. 35% for the candidates from SC/ ST category.

B.Sc (Medical Laboratory Technology)

• In order to get the admission, the candidate must pass 10+2 or equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects.
• The students who have cleared a pre-university vocational course from a recognized board with Laboratory Technology as a vocational subject are also eligible.

Pharm.D

• The candidate must pass the 10+2 exam with chemistry, physics and Mathematics/ Biology subjects.
• In case the aspirant has passed D.Pharm course from an institution recognized by the Pharmacy council of India (PCI) then he/ she can also apply.

KLEU AIET 2023 Application Form

• The application process of KLEU AIET Exam 2023 is completely online.
• In order to apply the candidates have to visit the official website of KLE University i.e. kledeemeduniversity.edu.in.
• While filling the application form, the candidates have to enter all the necessary academic, personal and contact details.
• The candidates should provide only the authentic details in the application form because the authorities will verify the documents later on.
• In addition to the details, the applicants also need to upload a scanned copy of a passport size photograph and signature in the application form.
• After entering the details and uploading the images, the aspirant should check the preview of the application form.
• In case everything is correct in the preview then the candidate may submit the application form.
• The candidates should take a printout of the application form after submitting the same. This printout is very helpful in order to get duplicate admit card.
• After submitting the application form, it is important that the candidates pay the application fee. Otherwise, the application will be rejected.

Application Fee

• The KLEU AIET Application Fee 2023 for all the candidates is Rs. 1000/- (same for all the categories)
• The applicants can pay the application fee online using a debit card, credit card or Internet banking.
• Please note that the application fee once submitted will not be refunded under any circumstances.

KLEU AIET 2023 Exam Pattern

Here is the exam pattern for the KLEU AIET 2023 entrance exam

• Mode of Examination: Offline (Pen and Paper based exam). The candidates have to enter their response in the ICR (Intelligent Character Reader) answer sheet.
• Type of Question: Objective type multiple choice questions. One out of four options will be correct.
• Subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology.
• Number of questions: 200
• Duration of Examination: 3 hours
• Language of Questions: English
• Maximum Marks: 200
• Marking Scheme: Each question will carry one mark
• Negative Marking: There is no provision of negative marking.

KLEU AIET 2023 Syllabus

• Please note that the university will not release any particular syllabus of this entrance exam.
• The question paper of KLEU AIET 2023 exam is based on the 10+2 level syllabus of Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects followed by major board and Universities.

• Physics: Concepts of Physics Volume- 1 & 2 by H.C. Verma, Objective Physics by DC Pandey.
• Chemistry: ABC of Chemistry by Modern Publication, Organic Chemistry Morrison and Boyd.
• Biology (Zoology and Botany): Objective Biology by Pradeep Publication, Biology Volume 1 & 2 by Trueman.

KLEU AIET 2023 Admit Card

• The admit card or Test Admission Ticket (TAT) card will release in online mode through the official website of the KLE University.
• In order to download the Test Admission Ticket (Hall Ticket), the candidates have to provide their application number.
• Please note that the university will not send the admit card to any candidate by post or any other offline medium.
• The roll number, exam center address and exam schedule will available on the admit card.
• The authorities will not allow any candidate to appear for the exam without a valid admit card.
• In case of any discrepancy regarding admit card, the candidates may contact University office immediately.

KLEU AIET 2023 Result and Merit List

• After conducting the exam, the university will declare the result on its official website.
• In order to check the result, the candidates just need to visit the official website and provide their roll numbers.
• The result will consist of subject-wise scores of the candidate along with the total score. The candidates should download and take a print out of the KLEU AIET 2023 scorecard for the future reference.
• In addition to the result, the university will also release the merit list of the selected candidates for each course.
• Please note that the merit list will be prepared on the basis of the total marks secured by the candidate in physics, chemistry, botany & zoology taken together.
• If two candidates have equal marks then the candidate with better marks in biology (Zoology & Botany) will get a better merit position.
• In case the tie continues then the applicant with better marks in Chemistry will get the preference.

KLEU AIET 2023 Counselling

• The students who will get their name in the merit list can participate in the KLEU AIET 2023 counselling.
• During the counselling process, the allotment of seats will take place.
• The candidates should note that the university will provide admission only after the proper verification of documents. So, the applicants need to carry all the necessary documents for verification at the time of counselling.
