KIITEE 2023: Application Form, Syllabus, Eligibility Criteria, Pattern

Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT), Bhubaneswar will conduct the KIITEE 2023 exam in order to shortlist the candidates for all its courses (except MBBS, BDS, PG Medical & PG Dental).  The application form for KIITEE 2023 will be released only in online mode through the official website. It is being expected that this entrance exam will be conducted from July 2023 and application form submission will start from November 2022.

KIITEE 2023 Eligibility Criteria

The candidates need to fulfill the eligibility criteria given below to order to appear for the KIITEE 2023 exam.

For B.Tech

  • Age: The candidate should be born on or after the 1st July 2002.
  • Educational Qualification: Must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects.

For B.Sc Nursing       

  • Age: The age of a candidate should be between 17 to 35 years
  • Educational Qualification: The applicant should have passed 10+2 with 45% aggregate marks in Physics, Biology, Chemistry and English.

For B.A.LLB/ BBA LLB/ B.Sc. LLB

  • Age: The age of a candidate should be less than 22 years as 1st July 2023
  • Educational Qualification: Must have passed 10+2 with 45% marks. For B.Sc. LLB the candidates should have passed 10+2 in science stream only.

For BBA

  • Age: The candidate should have born on or after the 1st July 2002
  • Educational Qualification: The candidates must have cleared 10+2 with Mathematics/ Business Mathematics/ Economics/ Statistics as one of the subjects and at least 50% marks

For BCA

  • Age: The applicant must be born on or after the 1st July 2002.
  • Educational Qualification: The candidate must have passed 10+2 with Mathematics as a subject and at least 50% marks

For Bachelor of Design (Fashion/Textile)

  • Age: The candidate should have born on or after the 1st July 2002
  • Educational Qualification: The applicant must have passed 10+2 with 50% marks

For MCA

  • Age: The candidate must have born on or after the 1st July 1997
  • Educational Qualification: Any graduate with 50% marks can apply. However, he/she must have studied Mathematics either in 10+2 or graduation level.

KIITEE Application Form 2023

The application form for KIITEE 2023 exam will be available only in online mode. In order to fill the application form, the candidates have to register themselves online through the official website. After registration, the candidates have to enter all the necessary educational and personal details in the application form. Apart from the details, the candidates will also need to upload the scanned images of passport size photograph, signature and 10th class Mark-sheet/certificate.

The candidates are advised to take a print out of submitted application form for future reference.

Application Fee

Please note that there is no application or examination fee for KIITEE 2023.

KIITEE 2023 Exam Pattern

The details about KIITEE 2023 exam pattern are as follows:

  • Mode of Exam:  Online (Computer Based Test)
  • Duration of Exam: 3 Hours
  • Language of Questions: English
  • Number of Questions: 120
  • Type of Questions: Multiple Choice types with 4 options
  • Marking Scheme: Each correct answer will be given 4 Marks. There will be negative marking of 1 Mark for an incorrect answer.

KIITEE 2023 Syllabus

The syllabus to be studied for KIITEE 2023 exam depends upon the course for which the candidate is looking to apply. The subjects need to be studied for some important courses are mentioned below:

  • For B.Tech. (4years)/ Biotechnology- Dual Degree (B.Tech /M.Tech) & B.Sc. Nursing: Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics.
  • B.Tech. (Lateral Entry): Mathematics, Engineering Mechanics, Basic Electrical Engineering.
  • BBA/ BCA/ B.Des/ BA. LLB/ BBA. LLB/ B.Sc. LLB/ Master of Mass Communication: Mathematical Ability, General Knowledge, Verbal Ability, Analytical & Logical Ability.
  • MCA/ MCA( Lateral Entry): Computer Awareness, Analytical & Logical Ability, Mathematics(10+2 Standard).
  • LLM (1Year): The Questions will be based on the syllabus of LLB.

How to prepare for KIITEE 2023?

Like any other state level exam the difficulty level for KIITEE 2023 is not considered to be very high. However, you need to prepare well in order to get the good marks and desired course. Some preparation tips for KIITEE 2023 exams are as follows:

  1. The first thing you need to do for the KIITEE prepare is to understand the syllabus and collect the proper study material.
  2. Make a proper study plan including weekly and monthly goals and study regularly sticking to this plan.
  3. Make sure you clear your basic concepts first before moving on to other advanced topics.
  4. Solve previous year question papers and mock tests available online.
  5. Improve your time management skills through regular practice.

KIITEE 2023 Admit Card

The admit card will be uploaded on the official website in the 1st week of April 2023 tentatively. In case any candidate does not find admit card on the official website then he/she should write to the KIIT immediately giving details like application form no. etc. The institute will not send admit card by post or by email. Every candidate will be required to carry a hard copy of downloaded admit card at the time of exam.  The admit card should be kept preserved as it will be required at the time of KIITEE 2023 counselling.

KIITEE 2023 Result

The result of KIITEE 2023 will be published through the official website. Along with the result, the university will also release cutoff marks for each course and merit list of the selected candidates. The candidates will be able to check their result by providing the application number. The rank cards will also be available for download through the official website.

KIITEE 2023 Counseling

The candidates having a rank above cutoff rank will be called for the counseling process. The schedule for counseling will be available on this page and official website after the declaration of result. The candidates have to carry their relevant documents in original at the time of counselling for verification. Otherwise, their candidature will be cancelled. During the counseling process, the candidates have to pay the token fees of Rs. 75000/- by Demand Draft in favor of KIIT, payable at Bhubaneswar.
