Eligibility Criteria for Khalsa College Admission 2021

For Research degree programme (MPhil)

Candidate should hold Masters degree in the concerned field with a minimum of 55% marks or 6.18 CGPA out of 10 (50% marks or 5.62 CGPA out of 10 for candidates belonging to SC / ST categories of GNDU or equivalent degree of the recognized university or allied subject).

For MA courses

Candidates having Bachelors Degree in any department with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate or 45% marks in the subject concerned or equivalent examination or Master Degree of Guru Nanak Dev University or another University in another subject or another faculty are eligible for admission.

For M.Sc Degree

Candidate should hold a bachelor degree in the subject concerned with a minimum of 55% marks. Preference will be given to those who obtain 60% marks in the elective subject.

Postgraduate diploma courses

Candidates having graduation from Guru Nanak Dev University or equivalent examination are eligible to apply.

For B.Sc (Hons)

• An applicant who has done 10+2 (Science) exam of CBSE/ PSEB/ICSE with a minimum of 40% marks can apply.
• Candidates having any other examination recognized as equivalent to the (a) above by the GNDU (with a minimum of 40% marks in science group) are also eligible to apply.
• Candidates have to appear in the entrance exam conducted by Khalsa College Amritsar for taking admission in B.Sc (Hons) programme.

For BPT

A candidate who has done 10+2 (Medical stream) examination of CBSE/ PSEB/ICSE with the minimum of 50% marks or other recognized examination can apply.

The minimum age limit of candidates should be 17 years as on 31st December of the year of admission.

For Diploma programme/BA,B.COM/BBA

10+2 with the minimum of 40% marks.

Khalsa College Admission 2021 Application Form: How to fill?

Candidates can obtain the application form online by visiting the official website i.e. http://www.khalsacollegeamritsar.org/. Candidates are suggested to first read the eligibility criteria and important instructions before starting the application fill in process. Fill the details correctly and carefully in given format. Candidates need to attach some important documents with their application form. The list of documents is listed below:

• Certificate and mark sheet of 10th as a proof of date of birth.
• Self-attested copies of detailed marks cards and certificates of having qualified the lower examinations
• Character certificate from the last attended school/institution
• Students belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC)/ST / Backward Classes are required to affix a certificate to the effect from the competent authority.

A candidate from any Indian University (except GNDU) or Board (outside Punjab) seeking admission/migration to the college will have to attach the following further documents

1. Eligibility certificate from Guru Nanak Dev University
2. Inter-University Migration Certificate

Result

The Khalsa College, Amritsar will be announced the result of candidates in a response to entrance test for admission to various programmes. Candidates who appeared successfully in the entrance exam can check their result online by visiting the official website of the university.
