Important Details about the Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria are one of the most important characteristics of the whole admission process which a candidate must ensure whether he fulfills them all for the admission to pursue the diploma. Here are all the details about the eligibility criteria-
- Candidates must have worked as a registered nurse and must have acquired the N. & R.M/GNM course or any other equivalent course from an institute/university recognized by the Union Grant Commission (UGC).
- Candidates must have secured minimum 55% marks in the mentioned course but the candidates of the reserved category (SC and ST) will be given relaxation of 5% and they will be eligible to apply for 50% marks in the required course.
How to Fill and submit the Application Form?
- After making it certain that a candidate fulfills all the eligibility criteria provided in the official notification, he can apply for the admission thru the application form.
- Candidates can download the application form from the official website of the university.
- Candidates will be asked to provide all their details in the application form such as their name, date of birth, email ID and their phone/mobile number.
- Applicants will have to provide their address and the details of the educational qualifications in the application form.
- The processing fee of Rs. 2000 shall also be paid by the aspiring applicants and a Demand Draft (DD) in the name of the University will be attached with the application form.
- After filing all the details in the application form, candidates will have to attach the photocopies of the certificates of their educational qualifications along with the application form.
- The application form can be sent by the candidates themselves by hand or thru speed post to the University’s registrar office.
Admission Procedure
- Candidates will be offered the admission in the university on the basis of the merit list which will be made on the basis of the marks attained by the candidates in the entrance examination commenced by the University.
- The qualifying marks in the entrance examination will be decided by the university and candidates must have secured the qualifying marks in the entrance examination to be eligible to take the admission into the University for the Desired Course of nursing.
- Candidates’ interview will also be taken before they are finally approved for the admission in the KGMU to pursue D.El.Ed.
